i reached level25 affinity but the badge never unlocked. is there a glitch? (chevy)
I have the Chevy one - it was one of my first - so I don;t think that badge is glitched
There are a ton of issues with the badges. I don;t have VIP, my tier badge is off, there is a badge for career type (Has Piston) that needs you to have badges on 3 other things Speaking Volumes, Experienced Driver and another and I’m platinum in all but it stays gold

it was noted that affinty badges do have some issues in that the wrong manufacturer is attributed the xp. This is very apparent during the endurance showcases. The usual fix is after you get to level 25 if the badge doesn’t unlock, do some free play races (usually a trip to Daytona oval with 10 or so laps), you can even use the special mod card, and it will ‘catch up’ the xp and the badge will unlock. As a side because the xp is counted incorrectly some manufacturer badges will unlock before you get to level 25. In my case I got the VW badge at level 22 and the Nissan badge after level 25 doing a 25 lap Daytona free play race.

I’ve got affinity badges for six or seven now and the Ferrari was my fifth. I got the mod card and the five affinity game achievement, but the badge didn’t unlock. I ran about three other races in Ferrari’s over the next week and after the third (maybe fourth one) the badge was awarded. I just think sometimes they take a while to get caught in the coding somewhere. I still don’t have my Ford one in Forza 5 for some reason.
Best bet is to keep racing. Should catch up at some point.

what I have noticed is rivals mode is causing some of these bugs. it wont count driving cars toward the test driver badge if they are driven in rivals mode. also if you max out the affinity of a manufacturer in rivals mode there is a small chance it will unlock it, (for me only one out of ten different maxed affinities unlocked in rivals mode)
