When I turn traction control off, why isn't it actually off?

Unlike previous Forza games, where oversteer is very realistic, I’m having difficulty getting the tail to slide on a 900+ horse power LaFerrari… When I say I’m having difficulty, I mean I CANNOT get the tail to slide… 3rd gear through a sharp corner, jam the wheel left, and stamp on the throttle, and the car just grips… Very disappointing from forza.

Also: I can’t buy the Aston Martin Vanquish, and the graphics are NOTHING like the screen shots I see…

If you can’t buy the Vanquish, sounds like you’re on the 360 version.

The Vanquish is a showcase reward car in that version.

Is stability control off as well?

It’s just the ridiculous Horizon physics.

The stock tires in FH have quite a bit more grip than racing tires in FM.

Well on mine (xbox one) when i turn TC off it is off
when i turn it on a little TC light pops up near the speedo, when off no light and no TC is on

I reeded in this Forum they tried FH2 whith Forza 5 physic and it was undriveable .

All the screenshots where xbox on game play.

Interesting, I have both TCS and STM off, and when I jump into the LaFerrari and floor the throttle, I get the tail out sideways without even having to touch the steering wheel. Check your Difficulty settings, and upgrades,

Am on the xbox one and when I turn off traction control I can always slide my tail

tune your gearbox and differential, i have no problem to slide my tail in any rwd car.

To the OP

If you could let people know if you’re on the 360 or XBOX one version I think things would go a lot smoother.

As a sucker who bought the 360 version, it does feel like the TCS only softens up a bit when you turn it off, and doesn’t turn off all the way. That being said, I’m not having much trouble sliding. All of my cars are muscle cars and an old Ford pickup so far tho.

On the Xbox One, even the Ferrari F50 comes with a diff setting so low you couldn’t limbo underneath it and it still kicks the tail out if you put the throttle to the floor. Having done the Ferrari LaFerrari bucket list challenge, I had no problem with a lack of traction or tail happy antics. In fact, that is what makes the challenge difficult.

And what other assist you are using as well.
