WHEN ARE RAMMERS GOING TO BE BANNED!

every week it’s the same thing: rampant ignorance in the trials where these idiots either don’t realize it’s a TEAM EVENT or plain just don’t care. this is RUINING the experience for everyone else, and frankly I AM SICK OF IT!!! these people DESERVE a LIFETIME BAN for their garbage behavior. you would think that after TWO YEARS PLUS this issue would have been addressed by now, but the devs are too busy banning people for trivial things like liveries that don’t comport with their sensitive ideologies. unacceptable!

Never. Thank you

I’ll say it again. They have not done one single thing in 2 years to make the racing better. It’s no longer the primary or even secondary focus at this point it seems.

2 years?? This was going on since the start of FH4 at the very least, so we’re talking 5 to 6 years.

this week was even worse, I feel like FM drained the pool. lucked out on my first trial but got obliterated half a dozen times I tried to go again, matchmaking was slow and horrible right when season started, I quit a few races from bad AI and teammates. tune metrics way down across the board, top b-class '22 VW Golf tune had less than 800 downloads a few hours ago

more specifically to your question: the rammers will be banned starting in Neveruary.

What people here really dont take into account is that alot of players are kids, under the age of 10. They dont even know that there are rules to follow and even if they did know, they dont have the skill to not ram people. This is an effect of Microsofts attempt to make all games for everyone. And by making a game for everyone it will by default be a kids game.

I agree that’s probably a large part of it.

Another, smaller, part of it might be server issues where Driver A and Driver B see two different interactions in the same race. And until that is fixed ( also coming in Neveruary I believe  ) I can’t see there being enforceable grounds, despite suggestions to report to the contrary. I mean, come on, they can’t even get rid of blatant cheat scores in the leader boards, how can they fix multiplayer racing ?

Yeah, that’s because it’s a DLC car, if you did either the '10 or something more reasonable, like the '83, you’d have more Downloads

you have no idea what i’m talking about, or what you’re talking about, but thanks

I have 100% of an idea what i’m tlaking about, you trying to defend ugrundy makes you seem the less knowledgeable party.

There’s a big market that owns the game, and there’s a subset that owns the DLC.

I had good races in the Playlist actually. Maybe it was because I sped off at the start with some of them. But the CC was just me & another guy locking horns, swapping positions. A good fight with the Golf as well as I messed up slowing down the AI team. The expansion races were pretty good this week for me.

However I took the Abarth into custom - rammer town.

I even just stopped – having been harpooned at the start of the 2nd race – drove up the hill out of the way to spectate and let the championship run through to collect the points. I just refuse to indulge toxic lobbies.

It’s going on a lot longer than that but they appear totally uninterested in fixing anything in regards to racing.

it sucks when your trying to race clean and jerks smash into you and force you off the road and you get penalized. something needs to be done ankut it or just take it all out of the game and it won’t matter. Don’t act like it matters and then leave it alone. DO SOMETHING about it.

Well a first for me today, I reported a player. I normally take the view that the rammer might be a kid, a newbie or just someone that just isn’t that good. If I can tell that it’s deliberate and off the scale and they can clearly drive, I sometimes message them to call it out. If they reply and apologise , fine or even if they don’t reply, I let it go.

I don’t recall who it was on here suggested recording all multiplayer races but it’s something I now do. I don’t upload them to any platform though, that doesn’t interest me.

When I was unbelievably rammed today at least twice by a player who could obviously drive cleanly if they wanted, I messaged them and in return got offensive content back. So armed with video evidence I’ve put in a ticket. Unfortunately, I won’t know the result as I understand it.

I’d question if it is ramming when you are trying to get past a player, who will not let you even though they know you are faster, and they slam the brakes on way too early every corner leading to you rear ending them constantly.

I just quit most of the races these days when deliberate ramming starts occurring. Not worth my time and i just go into another race anyway.

As others have stated. It isn’t going to go away. Sometimes it is fun playing with the rammers and watching them go zooming off the track or slam into a wall full speed when you hit the brakes just as they go to do a ramming manouver

So just in case I need to take action at some point. How do you record an online race?

That could have been me. I do that since quite some time now and have reported multiple wall riders, rammers and cheaters by now. A lot of the first two were never to be seen again. I unfortunately can’t say that for the latter but it may be difficult for the safety team to actually nail them for cheating if it isn’t to obvious. With wall riding and ramming it’s basically always crystal clear.

No, it isn’t. We had this discussion already and somebody who’s also active in real world racing put it something like that “If you’re permanently in the way you will get moved”. I normally give a player some leeway when it comes to that but at a certain point I’m no longer going to care. If the people are only able to tune their cars for going fast in a straight line and then become a nuisance in every single corner it’s not my problem. The same goes for people not being able to drive (control their car) for what ever reason and the ones that must have realised at a ceratin point that they can’t keep up but still try hard and ruin races for others this way.

I’ve no clue when it comes to the Xbox but the offcial CoC page says.

“To take a screenshot or video capture on Xbox: Press the Xbox button on your controller → Y for Screenshot or X for Video Capture”

Ever heard this saying: “Rubbing is Racing” ?

 Go forth, swap some paint.

…since so many people are taking this comment out of context and assume I’m gung-ho for ramming everyone all the time - this is specifically what I am replying to about that post I’m quoting.:

Smashing someone off the track or into a wall at full speed with no braking at a hairpin is not rubbing.
