Tried ages ago. Didnāt help. Rammers canāt read ?

If I saw someone driving something like that then I would go out of my way to ram them 
. Ehh I mean I wouldnāt ram because ramming is bad. I would use you as a breaking assist when driving around a corner. Thatās what I would do.

And let me tell you dear reader, one of my teammates still rammed the crap out of me.
First race, one teammate and I get out front pretty early. I go a little too hard into one turn and one drivatar and a teammate passes me while Iām drifting through the corner. I regain my composure and pass the drivatar that had passed me earlier. Blue team finishes 1, 2, 3 with me taking 3rd. Another teammate comes in 8th and the last two finish last. We win the first race pretty handily regardless of the last place finishers.
Second race I start in 11th. By the second turn Iām in 7th and behind me are three red drivatars and the two guys who came in last during the first race. As we approach the next turn the drivatars are getting a little rowdy but they donāt usually hit you hard enough to really push you out of a checkpoint. Itās all good. I keep driving. As I brake for the next turn someone thumps me hard from behind. I glance at the leader board and see itās one of my teammates. OK, I think, he wasnāt braking properly and gave me a little love tap. Still good. Weāre catching up to the rest of the pack and approaching the next turnāI figure I can give this guy a little room and he can pass me and we can still catch a couple more of the drivatars before the end of the race. Instead of passing me he rams me from behind again. What the? Next turn I go even wider. At this point weāre going to win with our other teammates on the board holding the top three spots and with me and this guy with at least three drivatars behind us so I donāt care whether Iām in 7th or 8th place. The guy, rather than pass me clean, goes out of his way to ram me hard as we go into the turn and then continues to ram me as we start driving the straight. I tap the brakes and let him go byāwe both get passed by a drivatar as a result.
Friends, I was done. Iām pretty sick of the terrible behavior of others and itās worse when itās during team races like Trials and Tours. Thereās been a couple of times over the last week Iāve considered quitting online racing because of the proliferation of rammers and cheaters. Next turn I see an opening to take the inside corner and push past him hard. He tried to ram me again but I was able to shove him out of the way after he made contact and then just kept going. I was able to pass two more drivatars before finishing. I finished in 5th and by the end of the race the rammer slipped back to 9th.
We won that second race by a large margin and I was glad. I didnāt want to deal with my āteammateā again.

Obviously the stuff that deserves to be said to anyone who does that kind of stuff wouldnāt be allowed in a game like this.

My experience too. Reported the pillock. I was leading gave him room x2, 3rd time punted to last. I have all time in world and donāt care. Few decent drivers had to put up with him.
Ramming so much worse in 5.
The guy in back may be fed up.

That is what the Nice Driving and Nice One are ironically used for. Letās hope the irony comes across.

Iāve been using, āWow. Such car,ā as my sarcastic response to rammers, etc. Itās about the closest Iāve been able to find that gets the right feeling.

The other option is to use a specific car horn. There are some around that might show some grievance.

Never had so much blatant ramming. It almost wasnāt even worth the effort.

I still err on the side of caution when it comes to considering whether Iāve been rammed. Iām not very good at the game and often clip other cars, though I try hard to avoid that and try harder to remember to press āsorryā if I do hit someone. In Horizon 2 I remember one unfortunate event, I tried so hard to avoid it but ended up slamming into someone from the side. They spent the rest of the races ramming me as often as possible. Presumably they thought I intended to do it.
So, well, there are very obvious rams but itās not usually that clear cut. Itās a fact of life in online racing so Iād urge everyone to take a deep breath and carry on regardless. Unless Iām having a miserable day in which case Iāll rant about it!

I can have accidents road racing and they are certainly accidents. If Iāve wronged someone, Iāll let them pass. I never ruined another playerās race AFAIK and if I saw I did do that, Iād leave the game.
Anyway the trial is a weekly challenge. This means an influx of people who may not race online much and just straight up may not play FH5 regularly and who think bringing the parody and chaos of freeroam into online racing is what you do. Result: you get an inevitable influx rammers, bad behaviour & poor drivingā¦

I like to get in on the early trials. Usually turns for me at 4:30am my time. Which is usually the best racers and the cleanest racing. Not this time. It was rammers city. I got it so bad in the second race I got flipped endo and rolled. Could have been bad attitude on my part but I was so far back I just tooled along hoping they would ram themselves out of the race. Still ended up winning even though you could see all the crap going one with the blue meanies up ahead. At least Iām all done with those crappies. No need to further the pain this go. Let 'em ram.

Iāll probably use that. Anyone with proper car could be the decider of winning or losing. Ramming these people could make the team lose.

Ironicly for me when Iām doing well and in a good position, as soon as I get a āNice Drivingā message I immediately miss a gate or something. Guess my Karma is just out of whack.

but I feel like if you wear those āDO NOT RAMā skin on your car some of the drivers would do the oppositā¦
