If you would take the time to watch a replay you would see the race tires are slicks in the dry, and grooved up race rains in the wet…other tire compounds do not need to change as they are already grooved.
I love the rain, puddles are a bit much but I’d rather have them as they currently are than not. Definitely a challenge with the wheel. My tactic is to avoid them and if I must hit them I ease up on the throttle and hope for the best
I have watched replays, but never noticed any grooves in the tires. Although I wasn’t watching the tires that closely.
It’s a shame that the weather isn’t dynamic. Funny how I can run a 1 hour race in the rain and puddles don’t get any bigger. How is this realistic? Pcars did this ableit rather poorly at first, on a much smaller budget and smaller development team. Just goes to show where all that sales $$ goes to. Clearly a Pontiac Aztec, Limo’s and SUV’s are more important to the Motorsport series than keeping pace with the other racing games…
Hey bud everyone makes mistakes. It’s admitting up & making things better in the future. That’s the best way . Would be nice for Forza to say okay we made the rain a bit more game than sim. Just to show how bad it can rain sometimes:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
That’s what I’m looking for from the Turn10. I haven’t read every thread, but I haven’t seen anyone from Turn10 or otherwise pop in to say “We tried a new feature and got it wrong. We will be working on fixing it in a content / patch update”. There’s a laundry list of what is wrong in F6 and none of their team seems to want to own up to. They’d rather focus on content than game play. At least the developers and team from PCars would jump on the forums from time to time to tell the community what is happening and what the expectation will be. I haven’t ever seen that on a Forza forum.
