Its the only car left that I want. I spent almost 25 million credits on car crates and never got it. Its never in the auction house. Is it even in the game anymore? I mean what exactly is it that I need to do to get it? Its not as though its some super rare car in real life. Hell Id give a million credits for one.
Dont waste your credits on buying crates
There is absolutely no locked cars in them and never has been…and this has been stated since early November last year

There where specale car crates with locked cars in them but they took them out the game.
There was never any proof of locked cars being in crates. That statement is false.

In the first 3-4 weeks after release there where multiple ‘locked’ cars inside the crates, but not on purpose. It was a error in ‘game design’.
The Formula E Schaeffler was only available via level up reward, and also inside the 300,000 crates.
There are multiple posts from people getting the Schaeffler from the crates, but couldn’t use it back in october, because it also had a ‘homologation error’.
Everything was fixed.
Same for the 88 Monte Carlo SS FE. Crate or level up only.
After the fix, some of these cars can be bought inside the car dealer. Others were just removed.
Like posted above i have 7 of the 88 Monte Carlo SS FE, but all from level up rewards.
Those i can’t sell inside the AH, because i didn’t spend one extra CR on them.
The 88 Monte Carlo SS FE listed inside the AH (see Braindeads post) are those from the crates. These can be sold in the AH.
But there are not much around. Most have been sold in october.
After all the fixes and the VIP fiasco, since november 2017 there are no locked cars inside the crates anymore, this is correct.
This is how it should have been from the beginning.

“One final note: We’ve heard your questions regarding the locked cars in the “Car Collection” screen. These are “exclusive cars”. They are not unlocked by progressing your Car Collector Tier. In the past, we’ve called these cars “unicorns” or “engagement” cars. Exclusive cars do not appear in Forza Motorsport 7 Prize Crates.”
That may be the case now but I remember the wife one night spending credits on a crate and she defy got tge FE off this car
The FE is a milestone reward. The standard version wasn’t available yet.

Have never been offered the Forza Edition of this car and am like level 420
I have 7 of them. Level 357.
But I received them all in October 2017 ~ level 50-100.
I can’t tell you for sure if they are still available.
A couple of cars were removed since then.
Right now I’m in the Hypercar-Loop again.
But I can’t sell a single one, because they were 100% free and I didn’t spend one extra CR on them.
7 of the fe ones or the regluar ons?

I saw it. I have the car 7 times. A lot of other people have the car too.
And it’s stated in ManteoMax’s list of ‘locked cars’.
Or do you mean the removed or adjusted cars (level up rewards, cars in prize crates, etc.).
This was also noticed / stated by multiple persons. I can search the link if you mean that ?
If I could auction off mine I would. I find the car to be very ugly

Finished everything there is to finish, level 500+ and collector level 43… still the Monte is a locked car for me.
Level 1000+, never been offered to me as level up reward (playing since Oct. 21)

The exclusive cars listed are NOT up to date anymore !!!
Some were removed, others can now be bought (the Formula E Schaeffler for instance).
It was adressed in the first 2-3 weeks after release and also mentioned in one of the changelogs or a changelog thread or a stream (Tuesday drive / Forza friday).

Just tried to put one in the AH … but still not possible 
I was already aware of the change, but couldn’t find any official post myself too. I could buy one in the Auction House several times but I didn’t want to give any credits to one of those ‘auction brokers’ even though I could easily afford them. If anyone else wants to sell me one I would buy it for the max possible buyout price (even though I would never, ever drive it).
