What have you done T10?

Iam sorry to ask that but this game feels more like a beta instead of a release version!

So many bugs, crashes and mistakes. Its even worse then Starfield and this is a Gampass title as well.

Translations are horrible (at least into german), the build from the ground up new car leveling system is a no go we’re not playing a game where we have to upgrade a character these are cars!
The system is good to see which cars u drive more often but dont lock the upgrades behind it. They should be there from the beginning, its all about tuning and upgrading.

So many things are missing like tracks (Nordschleife) a lot of cars (they probably coming as dlc or carpass). I dont get it why previously used cars in the previous forza games not in there and focusing more on not puplished cars in the forza franchise…

Auction house is missing, drag tires are in but no drag racing track, new driver gear for achieving races or so, 2 player split, a good forza vista like in different locations, my home garage which is, god knows where, and no changes with cups earned stuff and so on, city tracks, no movable camera when putting on different rims, no weekky forzathon stuff.

In my opinion this would keep the people more interested instead of trying to reach, as of now, at least level 25 for 529 cars.

I already have to think every day i play the game if i really want it and when iam in i see some favorite cars and i cant do nothing with them except i drive in circles or let the ai drive for 3-4h to tune and upgrade them.
I own like 35 cars and just one is level 50 and even that was a pain in the arsh!

And for what is the qualifying in career mode when i reach 1st place and always need to start from 12 or max place 3?

I’ve read through the forums here and i saw a lot of frustration, confusion and anger. But its not all bad.
The game looks great and it drives really well. But whats above takes most of the joy away.

Sorry to say that and iam driving since forza motorsport 3 all forza games since then including fh…

I have the premium addon bundle and iam honestly thinking about getting a refund. Never did something like this before.

But thanks t10 for all the good years. For now iam waiting because this game is not a finished product even though its GaaS!

This is the new model all AAA games release on.
This is to generate at least 3 points of media buzz around the game.
Once for the hype up to the release date. Again a month later when all the review videos call it out for being completely unfinished and a disaster release. And a third time, 6 - 10 months later with the first significant update to add in missing features along with usually some drip feed new content. This is the “X game is actually GOOD NOW?” period. They can then do this a few more times because that one big patch will likely be such a small incremental notch towards what should have been the day one state, And theres no guarantee that it will ever get to that state.

But this is where we are. Its how things are going to work. Theres not a single franchise or studio thats free of this model. Its a scam. And I hope every developer for these companies realizes this when they see these core features cut back for seemingly no reason internally, that they’re scamming people.

Started playing online with my friends on Sunday, did the qualifying events - no issues with multiplayer stability whatsoever. No bugs, crashes at all.

Since the latest patch released, we have booted the game up today and are having the following issues:

  1. On two occasions this evening, my game has crashed completely and exited whilst switching from practice/qualy/race in Open Multiplayer.

  2. When you enter the race screen, where you have 1 minute to set up, as soon as you press X on your Gamepad, the game will throw you out straight back into the loading screen so you can’t change your fuel or tyre. This has been race-ruining for many folks.

  3. Seriously long connection and loading times.

I am running more than adequate PC hardware and have a very good broadband connection. From what I heard the patch was “excellent” and “addressed many issues within the game”, but my experience this evening has been beyond frustrating and infuriating.

In addition, the penalty system is fundamentally broken. I get that it’s machine-learning AI, but we encountered a griefer this evening who ruined the race for several players, myself and my friends included. Not a single penalty given, whereas my friends were both penalised for the actions of this griefer.

People have paid good money for the full title of this game, along with those that pay Microsoft their monthly subscriptions for GamePass every month, and I don’t think there’s any excuse for these issues.

Fixed an odd behavior scenario that would occur for players who own the Forza Motorsport Premium Edition or Premium Add-Ons Bundle on both Xbox and Steam and use the same Gamertag on both versions where duplicated DLC cars would result in an error message prompting the player to repurchase the associated DLC.

Fixed an exploit where DLC car duplicates purchased from the Showroom could be used on another account or platform where the DLC has not been purchased.

I see a lot of stuff here but not a single one seems to be major in any way at all.
None but the placating changes to the progression are actually affecting gameplay.

Sure would be nice if we could race a lot of these cars in career mode…A lot of the cars that I want to level and race in builders cup I can’t because there are no races. I guess they want us to run free play and let our driver do the race for 60 laps while I go walk my dog… or cross your fingers and hope for one online but then I get to be rammed by some stoner.I could go on and on but I’m done venting.

I think someone said there were 98 cars out of the 500 that are eligible for the builders cup.

I dont see why I have to make my own fun. I paid them to make the game. The least they could do was give me a championship randomizer for a car or a division.

99% of what you said i aprove but i must say i like car leveling insted of grinding money and get the car to the max at start but a point you didnt talked there is a massive lack of steering wheel compatibility they say racing simulator but they dont support the half of the steering wheel i would like they add them but no money is more important than listening to the poeple

In New Zealand, we have robust consumer laws.

Anything Turn 10 said in promotion that turns 10 to be rubbish is grounds for a refund. Explicitly.

In spite of their “You played it no refund” or “3 days” rubbish.

Class action suit incoming.

MUST FUNCTION AS ADVERTISED.

Career progression bug Hold my beer, Turn 10.

And I thought we were overly litigious here in the US…

As someone who has played Forza extensively since FM2 I shall give my verdict. I shall add that I never took much notice during development because of the sheer length of time. I even stopped playing FM7 for the past year.

Firstly the I love the way the cars drive. Easily the best physics of all Forza games. I am pleased to see qualifying, pitstops, choice of tyres, changing weather. All of which adds extra strategy.

Sadly this is the only positives I can think of. As someone who loves tuning I hate the levelling up of cars. I am finding the career boring and multiplayer has a lack of choices as does the Rival events. The biggest disappointment is the lack of tracks.

I could spend all day typing what is wrong with Forza and how it could be improved. What I will say is all sequels should be an improvement and Turn 10 should remember an old saying “Don’t fix what isn’t broken”. I still find FM2&4 are my favourites.

If the game is constantly crashing on the top of the range console, which it is for me, how is that not grounds for a refund?

If you bought phone and it kept rebooting every 20 minutes, would you expect a refund?

False advertising is possible too for this.
