The Elite controller is totally worth it IMO because of the extra programmable inputs and the excellent build quality. I was totally glad I bought it (mostly for Elden Ring & Jedi FO).
I wouldn’t necessary call the build quality excellent. My first controller died in a year and the second one has the rubber parts peeling off after 3 years.
I was feeling generous today, so I gifted out an FD Viper SRT10, a 430 Scuderia, a Carrera GT, an Ultima 1020, and an Alfa TZ2 from the Forzathon Shop. Trying to avoid giving out crappy 20K “Common” cars. If I get some more cash, I might buy a nice exclusive car on the AH to gift.

In the interest of updates and promotion then… Well, I’m playing along, but got tired of the engagement after only getting through Ford alphabetically. My I “collected” a lot of duplicates over just the last couple or so months lol. I’ll have to grind through. Not all of them are… cheap ? lol I figure if the spirit of Horizon was generous enough to force them on me then who am I to say re-gifting them is bad 
And I swore I wasn’t going to go chasing barn find gifts, and didn’t on the first one, but, curiosity got me just now, and I got…
…a Taycan. Insta re-gift anyway, but hold on, sorta cool ? at least its the gifted special livery one

I just gifted over 50 random cars I had, including 9 Porsche Taycans with special livery
I still have some more expensive cars left to give away, including 2 Forza Edition cars, but I’m upgrading and tuning them first.

annoying they kept the limits on forzathon shop gifting. I have almost 30,000 points and I would go thru them all right now

Well, if you need someone to gift to, I wouldn’t mind the Alfa Romeo, it’s one of the few cars I’m still missing
I’m 500 points away from that, which isn’t that hard to get thought, but I could then gift one of the two cars to someone else.
I’ve sent out about 70 of these so far:
Bought a few Celica’s from the AH and sent those as well. 3 GMC Syclone’s tuned for B class with a livery.
From my intial list most notably i sent an amg gt black series, a nissan sentra, one nismo gtr, mini FE, Ford XB Falcon, a Vauxhall Carlton, Aventador J and more…

So far gifting hard to finds with stock builds. Its how i know my keepers apart and for those purists out there.

And get rid of my dups. I’ve got dups of just about every Ferrari. And several Lambos. Time for a fire gifting! If the bugs will allow.

I play on PC, Steam version, after about 90 hours of play I find myself with several very powerful cars that I want to give to specific friends. However, I recently discovered that it is not possible to give cars from the personal garage to specific friends, but only to random users, this is something that makes no sense, especially in a game that has an auction house, which is also pointless due to the prices of many cars reaching unacceptable costs, 20 million credits for a car that is worth less than a supercar? An example is the Plymout Trans AM Firebird Custom, practically impossible to obtain, but also many others, given that it is very difficult to earn high amounts in the game, regardless of the difficulty selected.
The missions are boring, all the same and repetitive and don’t pay enough for the time spent.
This has turned the game into a huge waste of time selling and buying cars in the auction house instead of playing, cutting out players like me who have no interest in the auction house. Selling cars after about 3 or 4 weeks is the only way to earn money in the game, there are no other methods.
Which is why I find myself with several Porsches and many other cars that I would have liked to give to specific friends and I don’t know what to do with them since it’s not possible to send them. Then there are other reasons why my review is and will remain negative.
The developers preferred to focus the game on buying and selling cars through the auction house, rather than trying to help/please ALL players, transforming a game into a shop.
This title, although nice, remains average and is not worth its price!
At first i thought they had had a genius idea, put new cars into the auto show for people to purchase for the secret santa, but then i saw the price of the new cars and 22.500.00 for the Aston DBR1 , yep i’ll sure be sending that.
Lets be honest it is pointless, you are just sending people cars they already have, if your anything like me you just have to then go to your garage and remove the car. However being older gen and being brought up with manners i still always send a thank you. On this note and in the spirit of the secret santa i sent out a load of cars and i got ZERO thanks “well, just the spirit of Horizon isn’t it”.
So i for one am done with it.

Curiously, I got 14 kudos (for dozens of gifts, many 7 figure priced, including a 300 SLR* ). Not a single Thank You though. So, we get kudos now just for “Gift Delivered” ? But not all of them ? Some fraction ? Or some gifts went missing again even though they were “Delivered” ? SO much bogus about this. It’s enough to make me start to wonder if Santa is real ? !
- I dunno, maybe that’s not such a special car but I thought it’d be a kick for a New Player… IF there are actually New Players and IF it actually went to a New Player… yeah, not holding my breath on any of that.

This feature is not allowed as it would open up the possibility of selling cars for real money, and i totally agree.
IMHO, this game throws credits, wheelspins at you quicker than any other racing game i am currently playing, an example being The Crew Motorfest, which is a real grind
