Santa has arrived! Head to your My Horizon menu for the Message Center and tab over to Gifts. Be sure to press Download on the message to collect the car for your garage. If you can’t immediately find the car in your garage, try closing the game and restarting your device to check again.
Dec. 15:
Since last Thursday, the community has gifted 4.5 MILLION cars to friends and other players. This has unlocked the first Secret Santa gift - the Holiday Tree Outfit.
You won’t need to download anything to use this outfit - simply go to the Character Customization menu in a Festival Site or player house and tab over to Outfits. (If the outfit shows as locked, a game reboot should enable it for you to use.)
This means we’re half way to unlocking the secret surprise Exclusive car! So keep gifting!

Cool and all, but… just me ? Finally got on with a friend a couple nights ago who hasn’t played FH5 in months. Had gifted them the Porsche they didn’t have last week through Wonderland, claimed delivered, but like last year, nada on their end. I tried again this week with the Ferrari 365 GTB/4, also claimed delivered, guess we’ll see.
As a side note, while I was on with the friend, in convoy, none of the Holiday theme stuff was showing up on my game. Trees, presents, the rest. They were for the friend. Hunh ? They were back for me today. I guess they’ll probably disappear again though. Sigh.
And. No. I have not bothered reporting any of it because I have ZERO faith in the ticket system as it stands. Not wasting my time having it Solved ! again. Just here venting which is much more productive.

Just like last year, you can literally do nothing and bar will move and we’re all getting the Lambo Sian no matter what, so who even cares to donate - just wait and it’ll magically be completed… LOL

I’ll grant that it’s likely a fait acompli, but all the people saying it was rigged so that the first mark would be reached on Christmas and the second part on new years were clearly incorrect. I’m hoping to see everyone blow up the gift numbers and they release it well before Christmas. Just for the laughs, really… it doesn’t much matter.

It can just as easily be argued that they moved up their release schedule due to poor participation and reception. Wouldn’t be the first time. In fact, I’d wager that is the most likely scenario.

You’d lose that bet. The meter updates in live time based on actual gift activity.
I think they just have it to where the giver gets credit whether the gift is accepted or not. I’m pretty sure there are more people giving than receiving.

What would be cool is if they would allow us to ‘gift’ a car to someone of our choosing, say from our own friends list. They could even request 1-3 options they want as a gift, and somehow limit it to 1 per player, but that would be alot cooler than current random gift machine.

They actually kinda have that! If you choose a car from the forzathon shop you can select a friend from your friends list to gift it to. One per week, max.
