I did read that both consoles were going to get a hardware update sometime this year so we might be able to get more. It would be nice but 1080p 60FPS is enough for some people.
They will be coming out with a better and more up to date one in the coming year or so. Just like they did with the Xbox 360. It is still in “consideration” but it will happen because that is what the consumers want.
I think that 1080 60fps in enough for Forza 6. I would prefer if kept it that way because it would mean that the framerate would be pretty much cemented. If they go for higher resolution than we may see framerate drops like we have in Project Cars. Even if the hardware upgrades could mean something like 1200P 60fps, I think thay would not risk it and keep it at 1080p 60fps until they are sure they can make it work smoothly. And as for the VR headset I pressume they won’t. The Hololens hasn’t been released yet and I think it is too late for them to be considering implementing that for Forza 6 now. I think they will wait until forza horizon 3 possibly even forza 7 until that becomes a feature.
No, it’s running on the Madness Engine which was started in 2006/2007 and has powered previous games since its release in 2009. I’m pretty sure vast improvements are out the window.
To those expecting VR on the Xbox One, I have a rich grandmother in Nigeria who just passed away. If you give me 10,000 bucks I need to fly over there and get my shots and such I will send it back to you plus interest when I return. Sound good and you will believe anything or are both ridiculous?

a GTX 970 (if you are in the US) is the same price as the xbox one itself…
If it ever becomes possible to use VR with the X1, I think it’d be insanely cool to be able to use ForzaVista with a headset. Can you imagine being able to walk around extremely high detail cars as if they were actually right there in front of you?
Better yet, imagine being able to race while wearing a VR headset. Suddenly you can look around the car without having to move a thumbstick, but most importantly, the immersion and sense of speed goes up considerably.
