So, I’m not sure how to describe this issue I’m seeing, so I’ll do my best. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or tied to some setting I’m not aware of, so I’m asking here first.
When racing, I see what I can best describe as an “after image” behind my car when using the Chase cameras. It’s very faint, but it extends a couple feet behind my car. I’ve turned off motion blur and camera motion effects but that hasn’t changed anything. Anybody know what’s causing this?

Ghosting from anti-aliasing?
Could that be car specific? Now that I’m driving something else, it doesn’t seem to happen with the 2017 Ford GT. I was noticing the after image when driving the Corvette Forza Edition.
I have the same ghosting issue. It was present in fm7 as well, cyberpunk too. I seem to notice it less on series x than my PC, where its very noticable.
I have a pretty nice laptop. Dirt Rally 2.0 defaults to Ultra. Most AAA games run at high or Max as long as I don’t turn on raytracing.
But Forza confuses me. I have run the benchmark till my fans melted. It’s infuriating how badly this game runs and how poorly it responds to settings changes. Lowering the quality from high to low legitimately makes the performance worse. How is that possible?
I can do 25% resolution and ultra performance DLSS and get worse frame rates and timing than native. I really just don’t get it.

Able to catch it happening, look inside the yellow marked region. I suspect it might have to be with raytracing. It’s an annoying visual bug. (EDIT: Not raytracing, still happens when disabled. I have no idea)

It seems to be the Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) that they have forced on. Found a post on Star Citizen that appeared similar to your issue:

It’s ghosting from AA, all temporal anti-aliasing technologies have that problem. In FM it seems that TAA is on by default, but also DLAA has the same problem albeit somewhat less so. Could be helped if game supported MSAA but it seems that this upgraded ForzaTech doesn’t support it or FXAA…
