I dont know if its a bug or not but the game lacks anisotropic filtering, tarmac looks lifeless withou any detail like 1 meter ahead, it looks really horrible, just a mush of grey.
I really dont undertand why waste comoute power on RT while not including something like the equivalent to 8x AF, it would make all the difference because as it is the tarmac looks horrible.
They’re using TAA vs MSAA this time which results in the blurry presentation.

Agreed. I complained about it I think that the LOD on the track does not look good. You can see shadows and texture mesh spawning in a few metres ahead of the car.

Yes, i dont think its the TAA we are talking here as the other user mentioned but more or less what you said. Looks really muddy if you look 1 meter ahead, no detail.
Anisotropic filtering is set to only 2x on Xbox, that’s why the asphalt and any shadows in front of the car completely lack detail. On PC you can turn it up to 16x for a much better image. On Xbox it looks like you’re driving in a soup.
yep, that´s what im refering to. 2X is horrible i would give up all those RT for 8x AF, not even asking for 16x. I still dont understand why some devs neglate AF because as you said and well, its a gray soup one meter ahead of you, just horrible
