I loaded into the game and left my garage. I was already driving an s2 998 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR so I went ahead and stayed in that car, fast traveled to the highway, and drove through the Autopista Speed Trap going ~275 MPH. The treasure hunt did not get marked as complete.
I restarted my game, the problem persists. I know of multiple other people that have tried the 599XX Evo that’s in the picture and a different Ferrari that it’s also bugged out for. I’ve tried it multiple times in the 599XX Evo and the Koenigsegg Jesko, but it seems to be incompletable.
I know the solution is correct because I was able to complete the treasure hunt on a different account and have had confirmation from multiple people that they were able to complete the treasure hunt at the Autopista Speed Trap.
It’s my belief that this event is very easily buggable, which will make it unable to be completed by a lot of people.
Spring treasure hunt ISO 200 will not complete, no treasure chest appears!!??, plz can we get a bug fix!?

Yup, bugged for me, too. Went over 220 in several cars and the hint didn’t show.

Tried it with different cars at multiple locations and it won’t trigger for me.
Cars used:
Ferrari 599XX Evo (S2)
Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 (S2)
Koenigsegg Jesko (X)
Porsche 911 Rallye (S1)

I tried it on the Autopista speed trap in the bone-stock 599XX (in true Darius Flynt fashion). Hit it at ~345 kph and it worked for me like a charm. Hope this will help y’all

It didn’t work for me either.
When I loaded up the game and went into free roam, a message instantly popped up telling me to look at the treasure hunt clue, which I did. I then went through a speed trap at 200+ MPH and a message popped up telling me to press X to see the chest location, but nothing happened when I pressed it, the message never came back, the card in the playlist shows as incomplete, the chest did not spawn, but driving through speed traps at 200+ MPH now does nothing.
There’s a bunch of people on Reddit having the issue too: -

Tasky no worky.
As mentioned by everyone above, this isn’t working for me and honestly, I really NEED the forzathon points for the Backstage Pass. Please fix quickly!!!
EDIT: This is somehow only affecting certain accounts. My wife is playing the same game, same platform, same PC, different account and it works for her.
No. It’s bugged and not working for everyone. Specific cars/tunes/locations don’t help. Thanks tho.

I tried the Venom F5, Koenigsegg Jesko, Pro Stock Camaro (all of them are S2 class) and my X-class Lambo FE and 599XX EVO. I run on the Festival and highway speed traps. All the tries were over 200mph and reached 3-star. All of them failed to activate the treasure hunt clue.

So this ended up working for me 45 mins after l last tried to complete it.
I tried multiple cars and nothing work at the time.
The car I tried was the Ariel Atom 500 for the Forzathon weekly challenge.
l basically stop trying and started to complete the weekly challenges and the trial and then out of nowhere l noticed the big red circle, so l went there and saw the chest and it completed for me.
Cant believe this still happens in this game
Bugged for me too. Exactly the same problem.

It never did anything hitting the speed trap. Didn’t show the location of chest but it was there anyway and completed. Go to where the chest should be and check. It shows you in that YouTube video.
It worked for me you tryed reloading the game
