Big NASCAR guy here, and it drives me nuts that we still don’t have this feature. It’s such a deterrent from designing any sort of stock car-inspired livery or build when I can’t get the classic Goodyear lettering. I understand licensing could be an issue, but I would be totally fine with “Forza Motorsport” lettering in a couple different colors or designs.
What’s especially outrageous is that on the Oldsmobile Trans Am car, which has become the NASCAR livery queen in game, if you upgrade the stock tires that have the Goodyear Eagle lettering on them to a race compound, the lettering… Disappears?! Like how does that make any sense?!
Big thumbs up on this suggestion from me!
I would like to propose the addition of a tire customization feature. Specifically, it would be great to allow users to add logos from various tire manufacturers to their designs, similar to how manufacturers display their branding. This option would enhance the aesthetic of personalized vehicles and allow users to express their style more uniquely.
Hi @ZR_Krizalid . This feature was already requested.

As a painter in Forza I would like to see this as a paint option, not part of the tyre selection. Add tyre sidewalls to the Paint Car option.
Allow us to apply any branding, either using a selection of in-game decals (like from the manufacturers decal selection), any of the tyre designs already in use on cars (allow to choose any of them, not just the original the car came with) or your own design allowing for any brand or unique design or custom brand. Have it attached to the livery so the car design shared will also have the correct tyre branding to match when applied.

This is long overdue!! Bring it to Horizon as well! Other games like NFS have many default lettering to choose from and really changes the look of the car.

Branded Racing tires. Yes. Yes please!

It would be cool if we had tire options from Forza itself like the Forza edition cars have, but for various tire compounds, and racing slicks mainly, if it’s not difficult to negotiate with the real brands too

Can we please have writing on the side of racing tyres (like real race cars do i.e. pirelli branding kn side) that is colour coded to show what compound is on the car! So red text for softs, yellow for medium and white for hard! Im tired of racing liveried cars around with blank tyres
Hi. I think these suggestions are already available.
Michelin tires on the cadillac v series r.
Their compounds are visible with different colors.
Forza Motorsport should add this ASAP.

I apologize for unearthing this thread. I’ve done so for 3 reasons.
First, it can use more votes. So I hope this gets more support because more customization is always a good thing, even if its seemingly superficial.
Secondly I wanted to ask if this could also be extended to allow the player to select what tire tread they want to see for dry tires. This may sound strange but, hear me out before pressing dislike or shouting the idea down.
In game, I’ve build a 1971 Skyline 2000GT-R for the C-Class Series in the Open Class Tour. I put Sport tires on the car, and I assumed I was putting a set of modern tires on the car. After I got back to the pits on the second race, I noticed the car had the same Bias Ply tires you’d find on a stock GT40. While this isn’t that big of a deal, being able to select Forza’s modern looking tire skins would be closer to what I was intending when I built the car. Also the car sure doesn’t handle like its on a set of Forza bias ply tires, so why not match the feel with the modern skins. Or give the player the choice on what skins they want on the car (within some level of reason).
And speaking of tire data, it would be nice to know if we are selecting radials or biased ply tires. It makes a difference in keeping the car period correct, or it is good to know if we are intentionally putting modern tires on the car. All we get is the speed rating of the tires and little else.
