I was very surprised to see that these racing tyres with the writing on the side wall are only available for a handful of cars - Cars that have widebody kits. And not even all the widebody car have the option of these tyres.
I was looking forward to putting these tyres on an old muscle car like a Camaro - no can do.
The Motorsport Pack cars? Nope.
I was looking forward to putting these tyres on a Mk1 Escort - no can do.
Old Skyline? Nope.
You can’t even put them on all the Upgrade Heroes. I don’t understand why they are so exclusive. If you can put any old wheels on any old car why can’t you put cool tyres on them too?
Is it a licensing issue? Do I need to choose the right type of wheel to put these racing tyres on? I want to put these tyres on so many different cars but can’t see them as an option. Very annoying.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Does anyone know if they become more widely available later as you progress or that you can only put them on certain wheels?

Don’t all cars have the “horizon race tyre” upgrade available when you go to upgrade them?
No, they have the standard Race Tyre Compound and then they have Horizon’ Race Tire Compound. The Horizon’ version has “Forza Horizon” in white on the tyre itself

Nope. I would’ve thought so to. But quite a few widebody cars don’t have them!
This is very sad they need to add it for every single car … I don’t know if i’m the only one to see it but some drivatars car have them on their car without widebody , I saw a supra with horizon lettering . I buyed the supra later and find out the tire lettering is not there you can’t buy it.
It’s rubbish that the tyres with the WHITE Lettering also push your Class up

The tyres with the white lettering push your class up only as much as the regular race tyre would. There is absolutely no difference in stats/PI increase or cost between the standard black race tyre and the horizon white lettering race tyre. Heck, it’s probably the same tyres turned around…

That’s what I mean, I don’t like upgrading any of the tyres in game, as it tends to push them up a Class. I always take my cars up to the top of their original Class.
I don’t see why we can’t just add writing like we can decals…

These options are nice and I’m glad they’ve added them, but they could have done a better job IMHO:
- White lettering should be a separate option to tyre upgrades; why wouldn’t I like to add them to any muscle car? Or even adding a white (or any colour) wall to any tyre
- I like that, for example, adding the fender arch extensions to the 240Z actually push the wheels out properly. I wish these sorts of extensions were on more cars.
- Number plates; why do they only exist on the back of cars when I can see traffic cars with them on both ends, and why is it one plate per account?
The most important thing here is about the tire lettering… (some people think its funny) but I would like to put tire lettering on my Honda civic 1997 and my Integra typeR… The Kanjo culture is very hype right now … I can’t compare this game to need for speed but come on … even in this game you can put tire lettering on a civic and on the Acura RSX
Every single car in the game should be able to have tire lettering , it is not that hard to implant … The fact that only race tire have the lettering is also a bad point … class is pushing up

The 1992 Silvia Club K’s Also have the Horizon race tyres lettering. You can add this one too.
And there is a 1969 Mustang Boss 302 Horizon edition
Purchased a Lexus RCF earlier and this car can have the Horizon Race Tyres installed without the need for the bodykit. You can add that one to your list.
