Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Issue

So I just received my FFB Wheel in the mail. Was working great for a few hours on Forza 6. All of a sudden the FFB wasn’t working anymore and the XBOX ONE doesn’t even recognize the TX Racing Wheel anymore. I can’t turn it on from the Wheel Base and none of the buttons functions. The light on the left side of the Wheel Base is just a yellowish green and not red. Is anybody else having this issue? Is it my XBOX ONE or is the Wheel Base just messed up now and have to get it replaced?

By the way, I went on the Thrustmaster site and it told me to do this:

Completely resetting the Xbox One console’s USB ports (in order to fix issues such as failed self-calibration, wheel not recognized, some missing Force Feedback effects, conflict with the gamepad, etc.)

  • The USB ports on the Xbox One are always On (even when the console is Off) * To completely reset the console’s USB ports: - Power off the console. - Disconnect the power cable from the back of the console (the LED on the console’s power supply turns ORANGE). - Leave the wheel connected to the console. - Reconnect the power cable to the back of the console (the LED on the console’s power supply turns WHITE). - Power the console back on using the XBOX button located on the console (do not use the XBOX button on the gamepad controller). - Start the game using the wheel, without ever powering on the gamepad controller.

Didn’t work at all by the way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had something similar happen to my wheel and it was only three days old. I had to 1st download all the OS and install driver/tools from Thrustmaster. Do not plug your wheel to your PC until after you download control panel tools from Thrustmaster. Then plug wheel to your PC it might recognize it on its own. If it does not then you might have a driver issue like mine did. You might have to download the driver or update the OS version on your wheel. My case was the drivers shutdown so my xbox and PC would not boot up the wheel. Once I clicked the update option button on control panel my wheel came back back to life. Not sure if this info will help but it worked for me…

sounds like my first thrustmaster tx - power supply issue. Contacted them and they replaced it.
