I’ve seen a few people like SlapTrain mention it and I ran Forza 6 to make sure my wheel hadn’t died but the FFB is definitely borked, it was all good for 2 races then it disappeared. Seems to be a problem with the Thrustmaster wheels as plenty of Logitech users are saying theirs is all good. Is this problem being looked at or should I just cry moar until the 24th?
Yep, this is my experience with the TX. I get minimal FFB to start with, and then it goes completely after pausing or going into a menu. I also went back to Forza 6 this evening to feel what my wheel was meant to work like!
I just read that switching the Xbox One controller on as well as the wheel brings the FFB back so I tried that and still nothing but I switched the controller off and the FFB magically reappeared! Try that if you’re having FFB issues with the TX.
Just to say I’ve tried the TX with the controller on at the same time and the FFB is kicking like a champion, thanks for the tip.
I confirm that! Just switching on the gamepad, force feedback start working.
Thrustmaster Tx Wheel.
Thanks a lot!
Enjoy Horizon world!
Thanks for the tip, I haven’t had a chance to try this yet. But I had found that going to the xbox home screen then back into the game restored the (weak) FFB I was always losing.
TBH I’m probably going to wait a few days now to see if they patch it, I have the FM6 career to finish off.
I’ve just been using my G920 in Horizon 2, and to begin with the FFB was virtually non existent like you say about your TX in Horizon. But I was fishing about in the Controls menu and found that the DOR in Horizon 2 was set to 900 by default which is a bit to slack for me, so I set it to 540 which is how I like it. And Presto! The FFB was much stronger and certainly adequate for Horizon 2 driving.
I just remember reading on the FM6 forums that the guys with TXs were having problems with the DOR resetting to 900 after a couple of races. Could this be your problem? I gather you can adjust the DOR independently from the in game settings which is something you can’t do with the G920.
Nah, you can only adjust the TX wheel independent of game settings on PC but my TX felt perfect on Horizon 2 without adjustment and I prefer 900 degrees in street racers. Funnily enough, I remember adjusting my Logitech g27 on certain older games that had feedback problems to solve the issue. Regardless the controller solution for the TX is still working so it’s all good now.
