Syncing Data for Forza Motorsport 6 [ISSUE RESOLVED]

the game constantly tries to sync up (there is no percentage btw) and for some odd reason my local save was gone, I’ve hard reset and unplugged everything and plugged it all back in and it didn’t work, its like if it can’t get the save from the cloud, and what grinds my gears about this is that I have over 34 days, 23 hours clocked onto the game with 100% completion and have every single car in the game and I really do not wanna lose all that, I also went to check Forza Horizon 2 and its happening to that game aswell which is getting me concerned aswell. What is happening?! Why are my saves suddenly gone from the console. does it have anything to do with my friend adding his account to my console or something? cause this started happening after I added his account to my xbox (I was helping him with something for NFS so its not supposed to affect Forza)

If I do lose my save and really can’t get it back would it be possible for Turn 10 to gift me the in-game credits I’ve had cause I’ve spent alot of time into the game and I really don’t wanna lose my progress

Give it time to sync, when mine does that sometimes it can take more than 5-10 mins for 1% to pop up. Also quitting the game while syncing is prop not the best idea.

edit: also don’t do anything else on your console while syncing just let it sit there, the other day it took me 45 mins to hit 99% then said sync failed, I hit resync and it was done in 10 seconds and everything was fine.

I’ll try waiting over 10-30 minutes but if it doesn’t show 1% atleast then I guess there’s nothing I can do :frowning:

It can take hours for certain people sometimes.

just waited 30 minutes and it started showing the percentage so I’m a little bit relieved now, ok cool was getting disappointed for a bit there

Depending what you have to sync, it could take hours. Mine took four hours once. Just don’t do anything else on the console until it completes.

yep its all good now, took around an hour for a 108MB file

Most likely, it was syncing more than just the update download.

Here’s the thing: when you play the game offline too often, and then go online, it has a lot to sync.

So I guess stay connected every time you launch Forza even if you’re only launching the game for SP.

I usually connect every other session just to have the save synced.
