Sunset Full/Club Unrealistic Turn 15/7

Suggestion: Turns 15 (Full Circuit) and 7 (Club) need to be much more difficult.

Methods: Any of the following. I’m not a dev

  • Make the collision feature easier to activate when people go too wide or too fast.
  • Make it more likely for cars to lose traction when hitting that turn at extreme angles
  • Open to other suggestions for this

Reasoning:

  • On Sunset Full and Club, on turns 15 and 7 respectively, players are able to just smash into the steepest area of the curve where the flat surface meets the grade (far left and way wide of the apex) without losing speed. In fact, they somehow gain speed in some cases. I raced a Class E for about 2 hours straight, staying an average of 0.4 - 0.8 seconds ahead of the comp up until those turns, dependent on the track. Upon watching those players replays, I can see the telemetry displaying them going full throttle into the grade, and somehow make up over a second of time between that turn and the finish line (with the same exact car and tune). Yes, when watching replays of their telemetry, I watched their gearing and speed to confirm we were doing everything the exact same except where we merged into the grade. Faster classes do activate the collision feature when the grade is hit at the right speed and angle, but not often enough. You can watch my replay of Hardcore S800 on the Club circuit (1st place GT40 MkII), and I smacked the outside so hard it was ridiculous that I did not wreck imo.

I just remember playing other Forza games, and hitting that outside grade was always a death sentence. Even if you were only slightly off the apex and hit it at a slightly wrong angle, when transitioning to the grade, some cars would just spin. Made it way harder, but I liked that.

Hope I included enough info here to be vote on or follow procedure.
