Spa-Francorchamps look terrible

They must have used an earlier version of Microsoft Flight Simulator to scan the track. heh heh

I ask me…
They said that they recreate (scanned) every track because of the new tire model but not the actual ones?
How does this work? Did they travel back in time to scan 10-20 year old tracks?

The whole game is a big lie to everyone of us!

By “remaking circuits” I feel it’s the driving surfaces that got new geometry in particular, as the older ones introduced problems with the new handling system.

The rest is “just” set dressing, but it’s what people see so naturally it’s going to get scrutinised.

My guess is that the version of Spa that Turn 10 used as reference is from 2019-2020, as it doesn’t include the rallycross arena, not to mention the new Radillon grandstand and other runoff changes.

Maybe it’ll get an update in the future but I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens after a whole bunch of new/returning circuits are added.

For what it’s worth, I think the only game to have the latest version of the track is Rennsport.

I think Le Mans Ultimate will have SPA as well. It’ll intereering to see if they have the new, updated version.

GT7, which is an older game than FM, has actual version of track including more correct tree placement.

AMS2 also have an updated version of Spa, being from 2022. It also have the 2020, 1993 and 1970 layouts.

And it’s particularly frustrating against the backdrop of the pre-release videos and all that we were promised. We’ve been duped by crooks, it’s time to face it. They haven’t done any of the things they promised, except for the physics. The rest ranges from “ok” to “this is just incredibly poorly done”.

Those screenshots are terrible. I can tell they are clearly low PC settings. Thats not how it can really look including on Xbox Series X.

Yup for people who claimed that they laser mesured the tracks like in ACC, it sure ain’t correct. Weird :zipper_mouth_face:
