Hi everyone. Bit of a weird topic, but yeah. I really like the images of the tracks that are displayed before the race, for example:
I’m hoping someone knows how or where I could obtain all of these. They would make for awesome desktop wallpapers and such.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

No disrespect, but of course I considered that. As you can see, it results in poor quality that doesn’t represent the image. There is a loading icon in the bottom right, as well as scrolling text. Any attempt to screenshot will be a poor facsimile of the image I want.
So yeah, that’s why I’m asking for help. Hoping either the devs will take pity on me, or someone knows how to extract it from the game files.
Hi, you can use editing softwares to erase that loading screen icon, or you can scale the image.

Here i downloaded them all and put them in a folder. If you are too lazy to download them all by hand.
You can click “Download” in the top left corner that downloads it in a zip file. You need Winrar or another unpacking program to unpack it then. Or you download them all one by one.
It’s only 12 tracks and one of the pictures (Silverstone) is smaller for some reason, but at least it’s better than nothing.

I’m putting a few leads out in a few places to see if anyone comes up with anything interesting. I think they are very interesting designs. Just the kind of stuff I like to have as a wallpaper. I wonder if contacting the artists that are credited might work. I need to go look at the credits and see what I can dig up.
Given they’re in the game files, maybe a PC player can find them. They do look nice.
I tried to find them but had no luck. There are no picture files i think it’s only available in form of animations or something, but that can’t be opened or i don’t know what i need to open these files.
They’re very easy to find in the gamefiles but sharing them here would fall outside of Code of Conduct, as far as I’m aware.
Just saying the path isn’t forbidden.

Yeah i have no idea what format “swatchbin” is.
There is a converter named “Tado” for that format, but i am too lazy to try that out.
Welcome to the world of proprietary formats. They can be extracted successfully, buuuuut I’m very sure it’s illegal to talk about what tools you have to use.
Yeah I like those too. I sometimes imagine driving them as a simplified mini-game kinda like Art of Rally.
