I was wondering if there is any news on if there will be any updating on the sounds… Engine, exhaust, turbo spool up time, supercharger whine,Blow of valve release perhaps?? i own a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 that was recently added to the game and my turbos in real life sound more clear and louder than in game. It would be nice to here all the car’s sounds. It would definitly add to the realism, especially when that BOV goes off after letting off the gas at like 10psi lol. And it would be even cooler if you guys went into more detail with modding like being able to change different blow of valves for different sounds, changing exhaust kits will change the exhaust note of the car. Or mabye some interior changes, upgrading to a boosted car you can add in boost gauges on your door pillars, mabye even wideband/narrowband gauges ?? Just food for thought, more styling and personal look on people cars, you could even do car show event with these newly added and winner gets “X” amount of credits or tokens…

I don’t think there will be updating that for Forza 5. they started with something great (not perfect, but great) and it’s good for 99% of the people… I don’t think they would change that.
something I’d like to see is the ability to balance the player’s voice and game voice seperately without having to have a headphone though.
I tried turning off the menu music and it muted everybody else’s conversation in an online race. I still wanna hear them talk without that annoying garbage they call music.

Are you sure it not a setting you haven’t selected in the actual Xbox settings or you were in a party … Turning off the menu music doesn’t turn off the people talking ?

I do think they need to improve the quality of the in-car sound.

Outside is fenomenal. But in-car sound lacks of intensity.

Cars have sound proofing to limit outside noise, so I think they have got it just right for the sound inside a car. As in real life cars sound louder/better from outside than inside.

Idk, i hear my car pretty good inside, my BOV is very distinct, turbo spool up is noisy, exhaust obviously.Yea outside sounds alot different but itsalso very distinct insideand they should atleast upgrade it alittle bit.

I can say that 5.1 surround in cockpit view, you can hear the exaust note in the rear channels, most cars anyway.
