Ended up downloading your C dirt tune for the K10 Custom yesterday & had some fun running it on several tracks. Very nice tune overall.
I saw that, gave me a good challenge. I actually renamed the tune #75 Cascada afterward
Nice; I think I got under 100 on that track with it as well.
who was it that keeps having the glitch where they can see the next season early?
Seeing as we still donāt know for certain yet I thought I may as well do C, just in case it does actually turn out to be the unlikeliest option of the 3.
A complete and utter blowout hereā¦
C SU Heroes (Restos)
LR Defender '20 (ESV Mars, stock tires) - 2:44.398
Velar (TGM shared tune, drags) - 2:49.136
Mini Countryman (TGM, stock tires) - 2:49.286
Velar (TGM deleted tune, drags) - 2:50.888
F-Pace (TGM, drags) - 2:53.574
Unsurprising really, power matters most for CC in the lower classes and the Defender tune has 550hp, Velar 423 (while only being 32lbs lighter than the Defender), Mini 326 and Jag 300.
Edit: With a few tweaks the Velar just managed to squeak past the Countryman, my tune is shared if anyone fancies joining me in using this slower and really rather unnecessary alternative choice.
My game unintentionally bugged out over xmas and showed me the S29 Winter season so I took the opportunity to grab some screenshots before the game crashed. It then loaded the S28 Winter season as expected upon reboot so I was not able to go back and get the rally adventures championship details

It is the unlikeliest option lol.
Defender it is then as the best choice, more knowledgeable tuners than myself will be able to make a better Countryman than what I used in the test but it still wonāt have the power to get near even an average C600 Defender tune.
I because Iām stupid will be using my Velar.
@Lostphoenixuk the RA Championship looks like C class Classic Rally as thatās a Stratos ahead of the Panamera.
C600??? Unreal, letās have a SUHās Trial but make 90% of them ineligible.
Canāt wait for the final seasons Porsche Trial to end up being D500.
See as I keep saying. We are all jazzed about cross country heroesā¦then they hit us with the c600 lol. Itās a love and hate trial. Oh well lets get it. Pretty sure gilles or geist will beat some rivals record this weekā¦so despite the low class worth watching some of you all make it worthwhile.

I managed to throw together a Velar tune with offroad race tires. Had to add aero and roll cage and heavy rims to get it there.
Itās a few seconds slower than my Defender tune on Tropico but actually a few seconds faster than the Countryman and obviously handles very well with the offroad race tires.
I havenāt tried the Velar on drag tires yet but Iām curious how it handles so Iāll give your tune a try later.
Man⦠Restos was third! Hopefully Iāll only see Tropico and Herencia.
Iām glad I made it down to the Defender on that list.
Tropico is a much easier course to handle than Restos and after all my testing there we likely wonāt get to it in the actual Trial:) lol
They kind of threw us a curveball with the thumbnails this season. The seasonal championship shows Ek Balam but itās the 3rd race.
Thank you for putting the list on, I didnāt have time to do that earlier so I just posted the video link.
I have the list with some high quality screenshots on my website if anyone is interested
Gave my Velar a quick go on the other 2 courses.
Did 57.741 in 3 laps of Herencia which would be #690-691 on the board if I didnāt already have an entry higher up, passed a couple of Defender '20ās on my way through the board there.
And 2:17.404 on Tropico to put it at #271, thereās Defender '20ās at #200, #235 and #241 here with another 6 in the next 100 places behind me.
Nothing amazing but respectable times from the Velar for what it is and I didnāt see any Minis while scrolling through either.
Really poor choice of class in my opinion though, B class would still have been a manageable pace for any player while also making every SU Heroes vehicle eligible.
For a series called Community Choice Iām struggling to see how the community could have played any part in this choice.
Iāve been saying all along, this series is designed to be easy, and low speed is one of the ways they accomplished it. thatās why I was almost positive it wasnāt gonna be A800.
I donāt love C600, per se, but I like events with limited restrictions. B made the most sense tho.
I tried out your tune and it handles better than I expected.
Iāve never used drag tires for cross country before so I was expecting them to be a pain to handle but it wasnāt bad at all.
Hereās the share code for my offroad race tire build if you want to try it out.
619 038 928
Probably wonāt get near your drag tire build but I think it feels pretty good to drive.
Edit: The Defender is the optimal choice for Tropico, but I did better by a couple of seconds on the Herencia circuit with the offroad race tire Velar due to the better handling.
Need to test the Countryman on Herencia, maybe itāll come into itās own there.
The F Pace with drag tires seems like a lost cause, if Iām being honest.
Tough decision but Iām likely to use the Velar for the Trial.
I just donāt like that we have all these SUHās, but they basically eliminated the vast majority of them.
Heck, you may as well eliminate the Countryman and F Pace S as well. Donāt like only having two choices for the Trial from a tuning engagement perspective. lol
Actually turned out to be faster so I had a go at tuning one myself as well, managed to knock about 1.6 (now 2.2) seconds off the drags one and get it to top 200.
Just shows the face stats can be misleading, the game says every single thing is better on the drags tune if you put them side by side.
Interesting comparison between the two, no wonder I was convinced the drag tires were the way to go initially, all thanks to PGās thumbnailā¦
Offroads Velar vs Drags Velar
Tropico - 2:15.252 vs 2:17.404
Herencia - 55.639 vs 57.741
Restos - 2:51.547 vs 2:49.136
