S1 Corvette seems likely for the Trial. Anybody know what track that is?
I suppose it could be A class since I think the blue Corvette in the thumbnail starts out in A class but that would eliminate the more modern Corvettes.
I’m liking the FD Corvette Forzathon. Didn’t care much for the arena drift park when they showed it….was hoping for some drift rivals….but I’ll settle for some great Eventlabs.
I have a question, how long has it been since we’ve seen seasonal championships and seasonal PR Stunts actually give “hard to find” cars?
I think that never was the case at least with FH5. PR Stunts never gave cars in general IIRC.
Not guessing this with a lot of certainty but this is the closest I found on the tracks I thought it could be, this is the first right hander of AOM after you’ve gone through the town of Mulegé itself.
After the SU Heroes Trial last week I won’t be overthinking what the restrictions might be ever again and will instead just take them at face value, whatever class the cars are in the thumbnail go with that so A class this time, and we have had a SC previously with Corvettes which was A class too.
Few initial guesses based on that…
S1 Drift Cars - PR Stunts
A Rods and Customs - Street SC (assuming that’s the Ford Coupe FE in the thumbnail)
B Vans and Utility - Road SC (Ford Ute in thumbnail)

14 of the 15 Corvettes can fit into A800, unless I missed something the '15 Z06 is the lone wolf here, can only be downgraded to 802PI at most.

Thanks for the info. I just don’t like downgrading these cars with sub-optimal tires and such.

It’s really infrequent but I recall the Rivian, one of the Hoonigans and last series the Galant were available from championships/eventlabs. I thought there was something from a stunt but can’t remember offhand specifically when/what, and could be there wasn’t. Hopefully will become more common.
The Xpeng X7 is going to be available in the autoshow along with the Hyundai Volester and Lynk 03. It’s about 34 minutes into the stream.
the only tire downgrades on these cars are offroad and drag, and they’re not necessary for A800.
edit: my point was about road tire downgrades not being a thing in this game. you can obviously downgrade with drags and off-roads if you find that sort of thing interesting, but there’s enough eligible real options

As mentioned very little has yet been revealed regarding restrictions and requirements for the Summer challenges. Some details are however available for subsequent seasons.
I suppose for those who want to spend the minimum time on acquiring new cars the good news is that there are nine new cars and none require players to complete more than 20 pts per season.

The VW looks older than 2012 - some versions of the Santana date back to 1983.

The body itself is very old. The Santana was produced in the early '80s mainly for the German market. Production stopped in 1984 already. The name was discontinued and switched to Passat for the successor. VW China used the body and some other parts to produce a more modern version of the car with a mix of “off the shelf” parts from various Golf generations and so on until the end of 2014 for the Chinese market.

I could be completely wrong about the Trial being on AOM (or it could be the 3rd race) but in case it isn’t I ran all the cars, there’s two '02 Corvettes because I’ve had Bedlam’s tune installed for a long time and it isn’t available anymore, would be a bit redundant running it on it’s own when nobody seeing this can go and install it themselves.
2 laps each apart from the two '02 Corvettes which set me PB’s one after the other, and Barbie which I spent some time with on here + a Rally DLC course last night…

I’m not feeling this upcoming Trial if it’s A class.

I have a feeling for the upcoming summer trial it will be b class maybe? They always make it look a class ahead lately lol. Their are a couple corvettes that go in b class…but hoping for a because their are two that are fast in what appears in that photo to be dirt.
Working out the track is tougher but for the restriction we all (especially myself) have just been overthinking it and trying to be too clever in recent weeks.
Take that C class SU Heroes Trial for example, it was right there in front of us the whole time with the Defender and Countryman being in the thumbnail, instead we all thought surely there was no way PG would do that.
Like I said further up this thread it’s best just keeping it simple and taking them at face value now, so in this case the event’s name + the '02 Corvette being there = A class Corvettes

I’m somehow looking forward to the monster truck rivals even though I kind of hated how it drove during the showcase event.
Wish they would add it to the game to be used for freeroam only or specified events so I could get a chance to tune it.
