those are literally all the examples I couldn’t think of, thanks
Hopefully it is A class as it’s where most of these cars are at their best, some are beyond saving though, just terrible cars no matter who tunes them…
All my times above the Tavascan I either rewinded on purpose or made a mistake so had to anyway, I really like the Tavascan with that tune so it’s staying as my leaderboard entry.

Top 3 and bottom 2 no surprise, both the Macan and F-Pace’s tunes are from when the Rivals group did a week on Las Ranas and they were the 2 strongest cars/tunes there.
Jeeps are just rubbish full stop, only ones I’d personally say absolutely avoid are those + the BMW EV, it’s time on here looks good but it’s far too much hassle to get right, heavy + very poor grip which is a shame as I like it’s motor sound, arguably an even worse choice for the Trial itself than the 2 Jeeps, despite them being as slow as molasses at least they’re steady.
Range Rover '15 also likely has the potential to go much quicker than it’s time here with a proper tune, I just wanted to throw something of my own in.
I’ll be annoyed if it’s B class. That would eliminate a number of these from eligibility, at least with an optimal build.
I am going to tune some to b class just in case. We went through this a while back…and were off a class.
the only 3 SUV that don’t reach B700 on off-road tires are the Rivian, Cayenne and Urus. they need drags, and the Rivian is still viable
Ok but B class would still be lame for this category of vehicles and the overall trend of having these Trials be a class under what they should be says something about what PG thinks the player base can handle.
They won’t give us S2 Trials or really even S1. I find that a concerning direction for this franchise to be going.
This wasn’t an issue in FH4.
You’re very early to the party with that one
C class is pretty lame and we get a lot of it lately…PG seems to like to take a great group of cars and think…hmm how can we nerf this thing and make it uncool but cool at the same time. A little enjoy it…but don’t enjoy it at the same time. A class better be the class for this one…because b will nerf these a lot.
Or they’re simply trying to hide how bad their AI is. It’s not exactly a secret that it gets worse the higher the class is. So keeping it low helps with concealing the issue.
We had an open class Trial early on, and it was a complete disaster. They may have gone too far the other direction because of it.
I think the ai swerving at the beginning of the race is an intentional design to act as interference for the couple of lead ai to get a bigger lead on the players, so you have a tougher time catching them.
Restos is kinda out of control in A800, there’s a few spots that will be absolute havoc, that’s part of my fear
also I don’t dislike B700 suv’s honestly. A800 is such an easy build and so overdone at this point
Agreed. B700 would be a nice change since the best A800 cars are well known and used several times.
I doubt that’s the reason.
In case it is B class, had more fun with this than doing them in A class, a group of 4 very distinctly ahead of everything here, the X5 even managed to beat geist’s Scout which I thought nothing would even get near before I started.
Lots of these will be stronger for M/MC users both because of their engines and automatic being very dopey on this course, got bogged down in low revs pretty much every time from that checkpoint after the drag strip up to the jump into Atlantes De Tula.

Sad result for me personally at the bottom but the name of Fenrir’s tune is ‘Worse Than Trash’ and it really is hard to argue with that here lol, nobody can get a good time out of a car that simply isn’t capable of one, drives nicely but the launch and straight line speed are just pitiful.
This was the list that I worked for liveries, so I should have about 10 options on offer, most of them new. A lot of them are brand new as I had never gotten in some of these vehicles. I’m not a fan of SUVs, as I view them as less practical minivans for people who haven’t come to grips with the fact that they actually need a minivan. (I drive a Honda Odyssey.) They’re also typically seen in ditches in the snow during snowstorms. It turns out ALL cars are zero wheel drive on ice.
Most will the white/black look with possible polished aluminum accents. Only exception is the Macan, which had a Gulf livery that I’ll re-share if it isn’t listed, or just put the share code on if it’s already up.
B700 seems to be the perfect pace for Restos trial, it eliminates all of the problematic moments that noobs and drivatars will get hung up on.
I would like faster Trials too, but I don’t like spending 30-45 minutes finding a team good enough to win C600 pickups, let alone S2 anything.
that being said, watch them make it C600 again. after all, both cars in the thumbnail start in C ![]()
I enjoyed replaying the Trials when the game originally launched because it was challenging and while I rarely placed 1st back then I still felt like I could contribute and help other players get it done.
I couldn’t tell you the last time I replayed a Trial because they’re just one and done affairs that nobody needs help with.
I’m not a great driver but I actually go into these Trials expecting to place 1st now.
That tells me that they toned down the difficulty too much.
