Looks like the Trial on Carretera Chase street race. I can’t make out the cars in the thumbnail so no Idea if it’s A or B class.
So I’ve got new Alpine Logos (the /// Alpine plus the giant A with a hook), some Momo logos… and a new vinyl group that’s guaranteed never to let you down.
Could be my eyes being trash again but is the yellow car an Exige with an SLK55 in front? Despite the event’s name that would lead me to A European Modern Sports Cars.
I’ve seen them name it after the prize car before
I hadn’t considered that but that does look like the Exige. That’s a real curveball.
I’m inclined to agree about European modern sports cars in A class.
Edit: I’d consider Carretera Chase to be more of a speed focused street race but who knows what kind of action we’ll get with the other two.
Guess I’ll make my Trial tunes more speed focused.
Assuming it is…
Abarth 124 Spider
Alfa 4C
Alpine A110 '17
Audi TTS Coupe '15
TT RS Coupe '10
TT RS '18
BMW Z4 Roadster
Z4 '08
Eagle Speedster
Lotus Emira
Exige
MB SLK55 AMG
Porsche 718 Cayman GTS
911 Speedster (downgrade)
911 Carrera S (downgrade)
Gunther Werks 911 (downgrade)
Cayman GTS '15
TVR Griffith (downgrade)
Wow, lots of tuning to do without a lot of time. Might have to skip the downgrades depending on how things go.
Edit: Guess there aren’t a lot of Lancia’s to tune, and everybody has plenty of S1 Ferrari’s already.
must be A800, and I can’t imagine anybody needs a street tune for any of these cars at this point
street races are all sprints, they’re the most similar races in the game. other than the 2(?) with highway stretches, there’s no real difference in build strategy.
carretera is one of the highway races, I would try to go with a no-rear aero build, but that leaves less Pi for tires. either way, testing against AI is a must for this one, a runaway #1 drivatar will be uncatchable
Looking at the names of all 4 Trials, they seem to be named after the reward cars.
Summer-Audi Ya Do-Audi RS6
Autumn -Magical Trevor-TVR Sagaris
Winter-Sea to Mountain -Abarth 595 '68
Spring-Porsch Spice-Porsche Cayenne
I don’t quite get the Sea to Mountain reference in the winter season though.
Edit: Weird, the site says my Series X Edge browser isn’t supported. That’s a first.
could be a reference to the first race, but the clues are getting more obscure
The first race seems to be a street race on the east coast. I wonder, does the Marathon run from the sea to the mountain?
Probably not. Still wishing for the finale races to be in the Trial. They did it in FH4 so why not FH5?
not marathon, but I’m sure there’s a few candidates
I was able to find you in designs at last, seeing I couldn’t follow you, hint, hint to PG, was able to make a passable copy of your Ferrari Horse, hope that’s ok with you, I’ll see if I can actually ‘FOLLOW YOU’ again today! Thanks! Keep up the Good work!
Yeah, basically none of the designs are mine, so feel free to create or recreate any of it! Thanks for checking it out. I’m excited for the upcoming week’s designs
Well this is a surprise, and I could swear scripted as the fastest tune just so happens to be who I took one of my WR’s from a few weeks ago, kind of glad though as I don’t want a modern Audi next to my name on any board lol.
Possibly the strongest line-up of tunes in terms of the calibre of player that I’ve ever had in one of these tests.

That Griffith is absolutely perfect for Carretera in the Trial though, you’ll launch quicker than every human, great acceleration afterwards, handles unbelievably well for a car on drag tires, very stable and it gets up to a reasonable enough speed on the freeway section that it doesn’t lose much time compared to others.
That last bit is all that’s cost a few of them here, the Alpine in particular was superb but such a prolonged power section really costs it, Eagle, 4C and Exige also fall into that category.
