I can understand the difference with Herencia but Tropico is similar beyond the big jumps and destabilizing bumps.
Vehicles would thrive with offroads on Tropico…it has several jumps and tight corners. Also…that first turn is funny to watch during onlines or trials…people will go flying without handling based builds. I took evs mars tune and took some speed away, increasing handling pi. Cut 4 more seconds off my time. Their is no winning with the countryman…it is 4 seconds behind the LR and don joes favorite LR lol.

Honestly, didn’t even think about the Rivian on drags/B class….but not completely surprised considering it’s artificial race car grip.
Try the landrover defender out with tires (not in rivals)…but with offroads. Wow…same with the countryman. I did a really good time against the unbeatables. That first turn is a rough one on unbeatable. They flew on top of me, side swiped me, turned sideways, and pretty much anything to be annoying. In rivals though…none really do well.

Used engine upgrade instead of weight reduction.
Could have been a bit better, but messed up last part. That easy part after that small village. I’m dissatisfied with myself

Bit late but Rocklxd’s tune for the Defender has just knocked over a second off my Restos time, heavier than Mars’ but 44 more horsepower and no aero.
Saeenu’s tune that’s been shared today looks like a more refined version of Mars’, better in every department and Saeenu is sat at #100 with it on the board.

No weight reduction + 5.0 V8 swap + stage 1 cams. No aero.
M+C helping a lot on gear changes. Probably would be much closer if I would go with Auto gearbox.
Also probably would beat Geist’s Scout time, but got a bit wiggly (again) in that “after village” part.
My plan was to use cams, so I wouldn’t have to upshift, but still had to. Can’t really tell which one (cams s1 or no cams) is better.

I did my time while waiting for a decent Tour to come up for the playlist earlier, it was the tunnel where my run suffered the most, got unsettled going over the kerb then I took that horrible checkpoint at the exit too late and had to back off.
Changing to stock suspension made the biggest difference, Rock’s tune with rally suspension kept clunking and crunching off any notable bump/jump and needlessly losing speed, off that big jump where the Wilds outpost is stock suspension was 5-10mph faster on landing.
Auto does suffer a bit with the Defender but I reckon it would still do mid 2:40’s on a good run, happy to be in top 100 from where I was initially though, especially in something that isn’t in Pickups and 4x4’s category.

I didn’t catch the details of all of this before the comments were deleted, but all of it is (& has been) so out of control with the alt accounts abuse & other tactics for tunes & designs to monopolize DLs, nothing surprises me anymore & it’s just expected (& ignored).

Really not a fan of next season’s Trial personally so this is all I can be bothered doing, only ran the S1 Porsches that slightly interest me, only 2 laps each so basically 1 flying lap so these times aren’t 100% reliable either…

Definitely not testing a tune for all of them but there are some pretty good candidates in there.
I half expected them to give us another low class Trial so S1 isn’t too bad.

I didn’t see everything before it was deleted either but there’s definite cheating happening. There’s at least one Rivian paint in the top 10 that was there weeks before the car was available.
Anytime a new to Forza car is added there’s paint shares searchable well before Legitimate ownership of the car. No doubt tunes are the same.
