It’s been so long since weve had them (Forza 4)… But I’m betting I’m not the only one who hasn’t forgotten them.
It only requires a server browser to work. Would really love to finally see their return.
It’ll be especially convenient if it takes several months for drift lobbies to show up the way it did with Forza 7.
Itd be nice to be able to just set up a public lobby for drifting without having to add 200-300 players to my xbox list in order to organize private drift matches the way I had to the first couple months after Forza 7s launch
REALLY looking forward to this game. Really hoping it’ll be better optimized for PC than Horizon 5 was (on my pretty well suited laptop).
Any word on whether this will be an option or not? Not going to buy this game until public drift lobbies are available but if we’re finally once again able to create custom public lobbies this may change my mind
If I can make a private session, why can’t it be browsable by the public? Why is Turn 10 so resistant to this? These types of lobbies are the answer. Let us search for and do what we want.
It took them a long time to listen about penalties in FM. I’m not ready to give up on the CPL. If enough people would get on board you never know. You’re probably right though.
This absolutely needs to return. Not having the ability to search for open lobbies so you can network and just hang with people, drifting, cruising, etc is not doing the game any favors. We NEED this or the game is going to become stale very very quickly.
I have been wishing, hoping and begging for CPL’s to make a return for years and years. It’s a great way to meet like minded racers. We built a small Group simply from setting rules and regulations the way we wanted and allowed people to cycle in and out as they please and when they raced well we became friends. I’ve personally met IRL a handful of friends that I met playing forza 4 from across the country. That has since diminished and I’ve longed for it.
Please. Once again. Bring it back so we can go back to racing the way we want.
Ah, the nostalgia of doing this! I was a car fanatic as a kid (still am), so I used to do 50s cars only, racing around the beautiful Positano, and would fill the rest of the lobby with hand selected 50s cars for the AI to drive in multiplayer.
There were so many amazing multiplayer features in FM4. I think that’s what truly propels it as the fan favorite. It’s sad to admit, but all those features died with FM5, and have never been back since
For the love of the game please fix the online to how it was with FM7. Need to bring back custom open lobbies because that’s where friends are made. A lot of the community enjoys online drifting and you can’t even do that anymore…. Where is the fun in that? Makes me wonder how many people will stop playing the game
I used to make open lobbies all the time in FM7. I do agree with you that FM4 online was the best. They definitely need to listen to what the people want or they are going to destroy the game. The track selection is also another disappointment to me, I feel like it’s very limited and don’t have as many as previous games
