back in forza 4 I remember joining multiplayer lobbies that were similar to private matches however they were Infact public therefore many people can join. When I spend hours on end tuning a car for drags it gets very frustrating having to wait 45 seconds per heat. So I would join these open lobbies usually titled “drags/ rolls” “cruise” and play with other people who also built cars for street racing, pulls etc. it’s not only way more fun but also way less annoying. So I ask that this be a feature in forza 6. Joining player created races so people can show off designs , cruise or drag. Basically letting us have more freedom and to meet more awesome people that the forza community has to offer ! - Wheelie ing

Your referring to the Custom Public Lobbies, which were removed in FM5. I don’t think they ever really explained why, but they will not be back.
Seems to be a trend around here.
It is sad that they removed these yet again. They first removed them in Forza 3 and there was a major uproar among fans wanting them back. In Forza 4 they were brought back but never really had much action in them compared to what they had been before being removed.
In Forza 2 all public lobbies were user created and user controlled. IMO it was far better than anything they have had since. I have yet to see any hopper race that I actually liked.
On Forza 2 I used to race almost every night in public lobbies but after Forza 2 the online racing took a major dive and has not been the same since.
Of the racing games I play Forza is the only one that does not allow you to create a public lobby and is also the only one that does not allow any tuning in an online lobby. Seems very odd because Forza was the first game of its type I played that did allow these things and also did it better than the others and now doesn’t do it at all.
I think far to much focus has been placed on graphics and far to little on the things that once made Forza a great game.

Yeah, I doubt I’ll buy another forza without custom public lobbies.
