Replays - Not saving replay after show message "replay saved" (1825611)

So updates are not saving… For me on the Xbox

Literally this game. Could scream

Bug Info:
After I completed the endurance race at Sebring (from the featured tour) I wanted to save the replay. After a short time I got the message “File couldn’t be saved. Please try again.” After a few tries I gave up. The race was around 42 minutes long.

Platform: Xbox Series X (OS-Version 10.0.25398.4478)

Edition: Premium Edition (Version 1.604.3091.0 ; Update installed on the 10th of June 2024)

Account: Solo account

Content Update: Last replay prior to the issue I saved at the 12th of May 2024. I discovered the issue after installing the latest update (Update 9)

Was there a fix for saving long replays?

Thought it wasn’t implemented yet

No errors are displayed during saving, and I receive a message that the replay has been downloaded successfully. However, when I check the saved replays, it is not there. All other replays of races on other tracks work as expected.

There’s a limit to how long a replay can be and it might be extending over that?

I don’t know how to answer that. But now the replay appears in the saved replays list, but when I try to load it, I get the following message: " The content you are trying to access cannot be loaded because it requires a car or a track that is not installed. "

I ran a 15 minute gt3, for the second time it says that the replay was downloaded successfully, but when I go to the gallery, it’s not there. This is after spending 6 months playing iracing, I tried to go back to forza, but it seems to be the same garbage as always

I have the same problem. I’ve encountered this issue many times.

Same here. Let’s push this topic, this problem must be solved ASAP.

New bug to add to the list:

Replays not saving.

Yeah.
It’s hard to imagine that there has not been a fully functional replay since launch.
Either your replays got cut off half way due to the length limit or the replay just simply won’t save.

I was in a private lobby doing a community race yesterday and nobody was able to save the replay, seems like a server side issue.

I’ve managed to save 2 replay since the reintroduction of Drift Rivals.
Very odd.

My replays i can save them but i don’t like the way they play because the cars look like they are on butter :butter: it doesn’t feel that they have grip like when you’re racing… They look awful too me, lot of work needs to be done. They need to improve the all game experience.

Replays will not be saved for races with 15 or more starting cars and a race time exceeding 15 minutes.

I have a lap around Nürburgring nordschleife with 24 AI cars and 8 minutes, but yeah shorter in time for sure.

Had some great races in NASCAR this weekend but unfortunately cannot share any clips or pics as the replays are not saving on any tracks except for Eagle Rock Speedway so far in my case.
Had an absolute barn stormer of a battle round Homestead last night include a full on dual Cole Trickle moment as myself & the guy I was bump drafting for 6 laps to catch the leading pack scraped through a car wide gap as 2 who had collided & hit he wall slid down from the banking of the final turn, smoke everywhere.
1st thought was, “That is gonna be an awesome clip, don’t forget to save replay!”…which I did, got the “Replay Download Successful” message…but there’s is never anything there, like I said the only one that has saved was a race from Eagle Rock last weekend, nothing since then, just keeps saying it’s done only to find it isn’t.
Anyone else having this issue? I’m on Series X.

Also have inconsistent results saving replay…

Private lobby, most of us will find the replay didn’t save.

Often it will say replay downloaded successfully but doesn’t show
Sometimes it will save for some in the group and not others
Sometimes everyone will get but mostly no one gets the save

Any official word on this?

How many laps? I was unable to save a replay on a long race once.
