None of the Nascar races I’ve tried to save have been saved. But I don’t think it has anything to do with Nascar specifically. Gt\Touring and other races are also very often not saved, although the game notifies that everything is in order.
I’m on a PC.
40 laps of Homestead. It’s saved Eagle Rock 45 lap races twice now no problem but anything other than races on that track won’t show up after saying download succeeded. I even deleted all but 2 replays to make more space hoping it may make a difference but still nothing.
Don’t have a problem saving Touring Car or class racing but they’re usually shorter in length anyway.
@Duff_790 it could be a bug or something else like system updates can also cause
these problems. Have you tried restarting your device? Deleting reserved space? Last resort factory reset make sure you save my games and apps you will be asked to sign back into your account make sure you remember your password & email if these haven’t helped for further assistance contact Xbox support
Hopefully the replay bug that was present at release hasn’t re-emerged, there’s been a couple of bugs un-delete themselves in the last few updates which is never a good sign.
From memory replays tended to have issues with longer than 30 minute races? Was definitely the issue with Rewind too in SP (but I haven’t used Rewind in FM23 due to how the difficulty settings work)
Speaking of repeats.
They are very uncomfortable to manage. The forward button rewinds for a short period of time, and to scroll through the whole circle, you will need a large number of taps. There is no option to select the desired lap, etc. Why can’t you add a convenient timeline at the bottom, like in any video editor, which could be conveniently rewound, instead of all these buttons?!
As seen in the title, 3 replays I’ve tried to save from sunset Peninsula nascar have all not saved. I have 2 replay spaces open and i have saved a replay earlier today from different circuit.
Have already lost several replays from the past few weeks
Some work, some don’t. Why?
I noticed NASCAR is bugged pretty much 100% of the time, but now Multi, the P2 hopper, and R are giving me fits
Had a bunch of last-to-firsts disappear into the shadow realm smh
Also has there been any mention of increasing the replay bank from 10 to… literally anything higher
Seems to be an 80/20 chance of a lost opportunity if you have to delete a slot in the moment. In other words, you can only have 9 saved replays going into a race if you think you want to save. Deleting post-race then saving just means you lose a replay and the new one won’t save. Think it might’ve worked once for me
It would be awesome if they brought back the burnout marks when you break loose. The old forza motorsport games im pretty sure you could do donuts for fun and the replay showed every burnout on the track
The only NASCAR replays that save for me regularly are on Eagle Rock & Indianapolis, every other oval wont save. Says successful when you try but there is nothing there when you look in the media section.
I’ve only been able to save a handful of races since the NASCAR update. Have only been able to save successfully twice in the past probably ~10-12 attempts.
PLEASE figure this thing out. It’s frustrating to try and generate content with this disaster, like I just assume it’s a wheelspin/dice roll if the thing will even work when I go for it.
I’ve done a bunch of oval races these past few days. And my replays are saving. I was skeptical about the one 40lapper but it saved… although I can’t stand watching them the cars are lunging forward and backward, one car keeps partially ghosting.

This is still happenning. Not fixed… Just did an amazing race with a full grid in GT2 Spec Series… says the replay downloaded successfully… nothing in the Gallery folder…

In the meanwhile they ask for generic bug report with insider playtesting…

Yup replays won’t download for me to i wish they would so I can learn form better players I play on PC and Xbox SS

Does the replay you tried to save show up later. For example: does it show up in the replay gallery a few minutes later, an hour later, or ever?
Have you noticed any trends in when replays do not save? For example: does this seem to happen more based on the track you just raced on or the type of event? If so what tracks or events?
In Felt every time in a full 24 lobby. It always says that the video has been saved but it doesn’t appear in the gallery. With around 20 players it saves at least sporadically every now and then with a race length of around half an hour.
It never showed up with a delay.
The only definite I have noticed is if Someone is dashboarded during the race the replay doesn’t save, every other time it’s purely random whether it does or doesn’t.
It will always say downloaded but if it doesn’t save it never shows up later
