Please remaster FM1 and FM2 for Xbox1. There were tracks and DLC in 2 that you guys haven’t included anymore and I would love to play and see the graphics on the Xbone1. I never got a chance to play the original either as well as many others I’m sure. This would be a huge favor to Forza Community.

Given how old the original and 2nd motorsport are, This actually wouldnt be a bad idea.
Maybe even combine the 2 titles into 1 game to ease the work load.

I understand the sentiment, but what would a remaster provide that couldn’t be achieved with track/car DLC and maybe bringing some gameplay ideas forward into the next FM title? Each FM game is already a remaster of the one before it to a large degree. The graphics and driving model generally are improved with each new title, but otherwise 90%+ of the cars and tracks are identical.
There’s no story in these games, it’s all about the driving model, tracks and cars and a few extra gameplay mechanics around career/multiplayer. I see it being more realistic to bring the missing content from these older FM games into a newer one rather than going the full remaster route. Forza Motorsport is a sports franchise similar to Madden, one of the big selling points is having the latest, greatest cars. Not many people would want to step back to an older car roster that’s missing out on all the great cars that have come out in the last 10 years.
I haven’t played anything before FM3, were there any outstanding gameplay features in those games that didn’t get brought forwards to newer games, or is it just mainly the missing tracks? I do know that the more recent FM games could do with a LOT more polish, balancing and bugfixing (and a lot less locked cars and online requirements), but IMO that’s something that should be addressed going forwards with all Forza games if the franchise wants to stay relevant and isn’t really a reason to remaster old ones.
The Horizon games on the other hand do have unique content in the form of their world maps, tracks and showcases, and IMO would be better suited for remasters with newer cars and improved driving physics.

There are a lot of things that the new Forza games are lacking that the first and second games had but the graphics and new supercars are the only things i can think of that the new FM games have that the original can compete with. The first FM had a certain feel about it that is enjoyed by people still to this day. I myself get nostalgic when think about the ME FOUR-TWELVE vs. Jaguar XJ220 races i had with my friends and family because those were the fastest cars on the game. The Maple Valley 1&2 and other good tracks along with a good chunk of cars are missing from the newer games.i will however say that the newer games since horizon have lot smoother and more realistic driving experience but i had, hands down, the best time playing the first 2 games and i also wanted to complete the story mode, buy all the cars and see if i could tune my car up to beat other cars way out of my class as a challenge. All that is dead for me seeing that there is a new game every year now loaded with what seems to be the exact same things as the previous one. But no it is not a remaster of the title before when the whole experience is changed dramarically from game to game. And if the cars and the tracks are nearly identical, humor me; search the cars and tracks from the first FM and the 7th just to see what im talking about.

Well i for one never got to play the 1st Forza and 2 was my 1st forza. Like the other poster said cranking up one of those titles esp 2 in my case just brings shivers down ur spine. Old players know what I’m talking about. We’ve learned so much over the years that playing the older ones with the knowledge we have now would push us to new higher limits in those early releases.
Tuning for one thing was an exceptionally huge topic and factor back then. Noone really knew how to tune for certain tracks or cars. There were also cars in the game like the other stated that haven’t been seen since fm2. The ME 412 was the best and never seen again. That corvette that was in there, never seen again. The new York track. Lots of things. So many people that play now never got to experience what we did.
So turn 10 please with the technology you guys have now remake what started it all. FM and FM2 so that it’s never lost in time again.
I played all of them from the first game onwards and they are all great honestly.
I wish they made all of them BC and added 4K support. That’s all they need to make them enjoyable again.
