Is there any hope of having FM2, 3 or 4 backward compatiable on the X1. I went back to grab some old achievements and it took me back to the beginning when I first fell in love with the franchise. I want to go back and play those games all the way through again but I dont want to have buy a 360 to do it.
Turn 10 can we make this happen? I still have all my old discs
I would love this too, but I suspect there are licensing issues. The licensees will have expired long ago. If we were getting them I’m sure we would at least one of them by now.
Forza Horizon became available and they stopped selling it on a couple of months later, if you owned it though you can still download it but no one else can buy it anymore.
I guess theoretically they could still make it back comp, but they wouldn’t make any money off of it.
This is only speculation of course but their licenses will have expired, including all cars, circuits, Top Gear along with any music in the game.
Even with the new leagues starting i’ve still been glued to 3 and 4 but im only borrowing the 360 from my friend. I wasnt really aware how those licenses work but it all makes sense. Maybe they can give an expansion of some of the old tracks. I’d buy that in a heartbeat too
I read somewhere,FM2,PGR3 and Burnout 3 Takedown are coming as BC games.
