I don’t know about you but I’ve gone back to playing fh4-3 because 5 sucks with a wheel but I love it with a controller . Anyway the topic I want to discuss. Should T10 and PGG make a reboot for fh6 like how they did for fm8 but this time actually make it good and completely finished before release. They should build it based around the original 4 with fun in mind. They should make a 1:1 scale of earth. I’d love to travel across the country and see Japan and all of earth. Also it’d be cool if boats, monster trucks, airplanes, were added. I think T10 and ivory tower need to partner and collaborate on fh6 and add f1 cars and easy ways to make money. If I was a developer at pgg I would tell them to make the biggest and best open world racing game ever with what we(the community) would actually like to see in the next installment of the series. Make it as accessible as possible for people with ANY disability. Fix the handling and add a proper progression system as well as starting out with slower cars and moving up tiers like in fm7.

Are you asking for a remaster of Forza MOTORSPORT 4 or Forza HORIZON 4? Your title states the former but your text suggests the latter.
I don’t know what his intentions were in starting this topic, but since the title is about Forza Motorsport 4 (FM4), I’ll write about what I think about FM4.
I know that FM4 is not backwards compatible.
It would be great if FM4 were to be playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series XS. There are several reasons for this.
The first is that FM4 has many things that the current FM has lost. FM4 has many categories of cars and game modes. At least when playing offline, FM4 is better in all aspects except graphics. However, it is an older title, so it does not include current cars.
The second is that FM4 has several disc IDs, and you cannot set up a multi-monitor environment unless you insert discs with the same disc ID into all Xbox 360s. The benefit of being able to align virtual disc IDs by supporting backward compatibility is extremely large.
However, if you play FM4 anew, you won’t get the unicorn cars. Those data will be wasted space. You’ll need an update to add the unicorn cars to the auto show like in FM7.

Totally - I bought FM4 (& FM3 for that matter) on disc but could only get the original 360 version hoping it would be backwards compatible at some point as they were doing it for FH1 & 2 at the time when FM6 or FM7 were being put out but never had an Xbox 360.
Sadly it never happened but I read many times that it was the best version of FM that they had made and since then things seem to have to worse so I never bothered with FM8 (as I prefer to call it).
Get the old versions on backwards compatible so I can at least check it out.

Okay, but you mentioned PGG and FH6, which are not on the Motorsport side of Forza.
If they were going to remaster FM4 we’d have got that instead of FM8, and there’d be some that would be delighted and some who’d want something new.
FH6 has been in development for several years and could be announced this summer to go on sale in October/November, as per previous iterations, but who knows for certain? Whenever it does launch, the location was probably the first decision, so won’t change now.
Forza has always been about cars, so won’t add bikes, boats or planes, unless they’re scraping the barrel creatively.
Having a 1:1 real world scale sounds unfeasible, especially given the need to work on Xbox Series S. Flight Simulator doesn’t have Forza levels of detail everywhere, just in selected areas. It sounds like a great idea, but the technology isn’t there yet to display it and the budget to recreate the whole Earth in 3D would be ruinous even to Microsoft. Google Earth and the like are made from photos, nowhere near 4K quality with changing weather and light, nor moving traffic.
