It’s a worse version of FH4 and it could so obviously be miles better with some competent development. With the bugs, I’m inclined to rate it 5 presently.

Which I’m almost to the point of walking away from the game. I have been a preorder loyal customer since FH2 on X360 and pains me to say I’m done!!
This is not a game I enjoy any more, and I walk away just so disappointed!!

A reskinned FH4 with all of the bugs that were fixed and patched back to square one with horrendous PC port performance issues. Lacklustre and undercooked variety, a “career mode” to Horizon Superstar that takes about 10 hours to finish if you blast through it.
Completely broken online, horrendous decal quality on the best cars and limited painting options making the game fustraiting for skilled painters, Horizon Arcade is a total failure and the game is already full of exploiters and cash farmers.
Those are a handful of my many gripes. Not a patch on FH4 in terms of an overall game. Highly disappointed but could kind of see this coming from a timezone away so it is what it is.
Hopefully they’ll address some of the issues but judging in the continued issues with FH4 over the last 2 years I doubt it’ll ever be completely fixed.
A waste of potential and a real step backwards from the previous entries.

Those festival class choices is honestly what has my rating down to a 2. I don’t have time to build cars for races they don’t belong against drivatars that overperform their difficulty. I liked when I could spend a total of 4 hours a week racing and completing the forzathon event and being happy knowing I felt good racing. Now I am left feeling discouraged and wanting my money back. To me, this was a waste.

Well, it’s fun to play and looks pretty. Look up my review in this forum. That’s an 8/10 review.
I took 2 points off for the overall laziness (despite 3 years!) and broken release.
8 is the best Xbox can do.
To be fair, 7/10 i have a blast. not a perfect release but had a lot of vibes from the OG Horizon, and other titles thanks to mexico and few biomes. it has online mess atm, story wise it could have been better, and removing championships shorten the experience but i enjoy the game still. i wish some features would been already been fixed or added as removing the launch control and the freaking anoying squaky noise of old cars that get very anoying quick. otherwise ill be waiting and wishing in the future updates fixes will change some people experience. oH and forgetting Not having Rocket bunny is a huge disapointement for a lot of us 
Currently 6. This will increase as they fix the bugs. The game should be great when working properly.
Apart from the numerous bugs I’m a wee bit surprised with some of car class choices made for the festival playlist. Some have just been crazy.

I had rated the game based on the assumption that the few bugs we had at the release of the game would be fixed, but the state of the game is actually worse than 2 weeks ago, much worse, so i have to correct my rating to a 4.
