played last night, just went on now and got the message. called Microsoft, told me to delete save data. still nothing. lost everything and now im mad. is there a fix? Im very close to return Forza.
Had this problem Christmas day, decided to respond here in hopes of getting some downloads/credits since I needed to restart.
Still love the game, but I seriously considered just giving it up (I bought most of the DLC already and was psyched to play it).
Hopefully we’ll see a fix for this in Forza Horizon 2 and not just Horizon 3 if/when it comes out.
For assistance with your lost progress, send a private message to HeliosT10 with your gamertag and total amount of credits lost.

Just happened to me too. Looks like there’s no hope for us to completely get all our stuff back. Is there a way to remove Cloud Saves? I’ve had the syncing issue to. The cloud is stupid, it’s ruining our games. It would run just fine without the cloud.
But Microsoft says… The cloud the future… It’s what you want… It’s what you NEED. It’s just a typical scam to get us to give MS more money. If they don’t fix this with coming games, I’m not going to buy any future Forza games.
This is the second time this has happened to me:( The first time this happened I lost all my career data at driver level 60 odd. it said it couldn’t sync data and to delete my game info… so I started all over again. so after about 4 months of racing I go to play and it says that my profile is invalid and to delete my profile to continue. I’ve just about lost hope. been playing forza since number 3. horizon 2 is just about my favorite game. but I have now lost a combined profile of over 100, millions of credits and a heap of custom tunes. Currently my last ditch effort was to delete my local profile and see if it would sync up… it just sits on the sync screen and does nothing… no progress bar after 20 minutes or anything!

I found a fix you have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it and enter the game offline after you’ve deleted save files from your xbox it schoul work

I have had this same problem for about 2-3 months. I have spent quite a bit of money on THIS game - and now it looks like there is no fix coming from Microsoft. I don’t know how they think they can do this to customers who have spent money on a game and now cannot play it at all. Losing all of my progress is bad enough - but not to even be able to play it now? Microsoft - if you aren’t going to fix this, then GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK.
