I got this message today when I went to play FH2. It is telling me to delete my profile and select a new one. I have too much stuff to delete and try to rebuild or hope to reload my profile. Does someone have a solution to this issue? Is there a way I can make sure my FH2 profile is backed up so I don’t loose months worth of play time?!. My Forza 5 profile was fine. It did have to sync and took a very long time.
Sounds like a job for XBL Support, dude, not sure you’ll find a solution here. Maybe someone here CAN help, but I got nothin’. Never even heard of an issue like that.

Well this just happened to me too…hard restarts, deleting and reloading my profile, signing in under my wife’s profile all have failed to fix the issue. Not even bothering calling Xbox support as I can tell from other posts that it is futile sat this point. Hopefully someone from the community staff or the mods who have regular contact with the T10 team can forward this on since I really don’t want to give up a lvl 243 profile due to a sync issue. I was playing, the game froze, and it gave me the “profile gone” message. This is really quite unacceptable.
Unfortunately I have the same issue as everyone here. Ive tried everything GTODaddy73 mentioned minus the calling Xbox Support. This is extremely frustrating as I’ve been talking about this game for weeks and when I finally get it, about 15 hours into playing I get this invalid profile BS. I just wanna play a game that isn’t broken… guess that’s too much for the gaming industry.
HI I’m having the same issue, as soon as i opened it up the invalid profile message comes up. I’ve spoken to Xbox they said its out of their control. All that time for nothing.
I have the same issue as well. Lost both my Horizon 2 and forza 5 game data. It asked me to sync both game and i did, I waited about an hour on each sync. And when the sync finished it made me restart like id never played the game for 144 hours and had every single car. So Im forced to restart or give up on forza…
It has nothing to do with that…I work in a tech field and talked to the guys I work with who run our programming dept while waiting for an update to one of my work devices and he said it’s more than likely a server or cloud stability issue and quite possible those of us who have lost our saves have lost them forever since the issue corrupted the local save as well our cloud save and they will never be able to sync again not matter how many times you to do it.

I asked my friend enter the forza h2 on your xbox one with my profile, entered normally. The error is only happening with my xbox one
I hope microsoft or Turn10 have a solution or never see my money on forza’s!

I’ve seen several messages like this one. Fortunately, this hasn’t happened to me. I am always fearful it will. I haven’t seen any responses saying the problem has been fixed. There are probably some but I haven’t seen them. Does anyone know of anyone fixing the problem? If so, what was the fix?
Edit: I reread the posts and saw post #10 did get it fixed. I thought I’d read about other people doing what he did and the problem not getting resolved.
