Potential buyer... Unsure

There will always and I mean always be complaints about a just released game. Most complaints are nit picking if you ask me.Taken as a whole its a solid game.Perfection, nope nothing is cause everyone has their own point of view how things should be…Should you get the game? Idk… Your decision.?You certainly have enough info at your disposal to make an educated informative decision. This forum like almost any forum I belong to from A-Z are almost always exclusively filled with bashing threads… Most forza 6 owners dont belong to a forum and are enjoying the game … Jmo…

what you need to understand here is that people are more prompt to voice complains than they are with things they’re happy about.
so for every complaining player you get, there might be 10, 100, 1000 or 10.000 others just playing the game.

nothing in life will ever be perfect, we are not entitled to perfection, it is delusionnal to think otherwise (but, I agree, a popular trend amongst youngsters)

Now, Forza 6 is the best forza to date, hands down
The core game is the same as always, the physics model is as good as it ever was and I promise that if you’re at least a little into cars, you will spend countless hours playing that game.

Could it be better? of course, everything can be better.
Does it have flaws? of course, every game has flaws, every thing in the world, yourself included, have flaws

so if you’re into cars, and also into video games, you should get it and you will enjoy it.
if you focus on negative points, you’ll be back here complaining with the others
if you focus on what’s good and the fun you can have, things you can learn, people you can meet, then you’ll have a blast.

in the end, it’s like real life, some people focus on what’s negative and complain. Others focus on what’s positive and enjoy their lives.

it’s up to you
The forza franchise is widely accepted as a major franchise in racing games, it brought many people, me included to get more into cars, even in real life (I would never have been to the nurburgring if it wasn’t for forza)
This last opus is widely recognized as, despite its flaws, the best forza ever. And I would tend to agree.

The good in this game overpowers the bad.

If you’re using a gamepad instead of a steering wheel the game can be very annoying. Say if you’re driving the formula 1 car or Bentley lemans car you’ll press the gas and just spin out, so really the only thing to do when driving those cars using a pad is to use tcs which I think is very annoying.

Have you set your controller deadzones up?

I’ve driven the stock F1 car on Spa in the rain on a pad with no assists and it was a handful, but it didn’t spin unless i mashed the throttle or wasn’t smooth with the steering.

Never understood people who ask others what is “worth” it , in order to assess thier own formation of an opinion.

Whats worth it to you is a personal thing, my opinion should mean nothing. I don’t know you. Anyways, with the good and bad, Forza is a large part of my gaming and I have always enjoyed the RACING.
If I play for 2 months approx. Thats a little more than a dollar a day. I’m good. Had a blast playing yesterday, a few frustrations, but at the end, I was sweaty palms and all, grinning from ear to ear and can’t wait to get back home to boot it up again.

I would say buy it. It’s definitely better than FM5. For me it is even better than 4 when it comes to pure racing. Better Nordschleife, rain and night racing, so many tracks and a nicer Force Feedback, to name just a few. Only problem is Forza 4 had more features. Storefront, Auctionhouse, Clubs and most important: Public Private Lobbies. I never understood what was wrong about public private lobbies for Turn 10…

I really like the spectator mode, you can take a break and watch some very good racing, then jump back in the next race. The graphics and what not look almost real…amazing.

Let me share my thoughts to help you decide. Been with Forza since day one on original Xbox, so obviously I’ve been with the series for a very long time.

First do not pay attention to Greenwalt. He is classic textbook taught public speaker. Hits and hammers all bullet points in his speeches. If anything he may be a graduate in a political science program from somewhere. Listened to him talk for years now. Honestly know his presentation before he gives it at E3 or in interviews. I am not joking.

Ok, with that out of the way . . . here is the best advice anyone can give you.

Forza Motorsport is geared to sim racers. If looking for arcade style go Forza Horizons.

Any of those series, if are playing single player they are purchases. If plan on being in multiplayer most of the time, DO NOT purchase just rent. The insane amount of racers that drive dirty, ram, crash, and just think it is a demolition derby ruins all fun online to point of hating to play Forza.

Example being me. This will be the first Forza game I will not purchase due to lack of a solid and enjoyable multiplayer component to the game. I have purchased Collector’s Editions for Forza and everything so I am far from being a hater.

Multiplayer just simply ruined the series for me. And that is a shame.

Im thoroughly enjoying this game. Even with all the “flaws” its highly entertaining and I recommend it.
