The Forza team is interested in your feedback related to the new track, new cars, and Featured events in Update 3. Note: Update 3’s weekly content concludes on January 17th while the Builders Cup Featured Tour runs through January 31st, 2024.

RE: the last question on additional driver suits…

I find it amusingly annoying that the cleanest, most desirable driver suit in the game is an exclusive prize from a SoundCloud competition. Motorsport 7 had more than it’s fair share of ridiculous suits, but it also had quite a few really good designs that were either realistic enough or authentic enough to be satisfied with equipping. The ones in Motorsport 2023 look amateurish in comparison - as if they were slapped together in MS Paint the night before the game went gold (and honestly, given the current state of things, maybe they were). I’d rather just wear blank suits instead.

At a bare minimum, the manufacturer suits need to return posthaste. Ideally, that needs to happen, there needs to be more real-world sponsorships in place of the fake ones in game, and there should be a suit editor just as Gran Turismo 7 has so that the community can create their own designs.

I liked the fact updates are coming with tracks, but I want see new tracks, not the FM7 tracks

That said, i also want see more econocars to race in FM, even if are returning cars
I know people seems to like GT racing and Prototypes more, (from the votes) but there has a good number of people like race with non exotic/GT Cars and have only the Trans-Am Cars for it kinda is sad

I just want to see all cars that were once rewards from completing tours available in “Buy Cars” and Free Play. No more of these “come and go” mechanics that make players miss out on cars.

Detailed info is good info.

As an example, if a program doesn’t work, i could send a bug report on GitHub saying “My program doesn’t work, fix it!”

Doesn’t mean that it’ll either A: Fix your problem or B: Be helpful to anyone reading your report.

The lack of sponsored content in the game is due to not wanting licenses to run out so the game can be available for longer. So a suit editor would be ideal so people can make their own.

Yes i think the overall structure won’t really change, but the combinations people might prefer could possibly be altered. Its not a bad way to introduce cars, but its not particularly engaging either. The career structure is not fun, having events locked behind eachother isnt good.

I just dont understand what developers dont understand, if the game is designed properly people will play it. You dont need fomo, or carrots dangling on a stick. If the game is good people will play.

Couldn’t agree more. The two biggest things I want to see changed regarding content are:

  • making reward cars available for purchase, and

  • keeping new monthly tour events as permanent fixtures that I can complete (or re-complete) whenever i choose.

FOMO needs to go, and I’m going to keep banging this drum for as long as it takes. I’m fine with whatever other cars or tracks the devs want to add to the game… just make it so i can actually use the cars and access the events on my own time, not when T10 tell me to.

What is wrong in update 3 content:

  • All timed FOMO content is just trash (do not tell me when to play)
  • All car pass cars have absolutely no use for me
  • If rivals need 300k credit car, no go for me.
  • All timed careed mode races need expensive FOMO cars, no go for me
  • New track is only used in new career races… Common problem, current career events stay limited on content forever.
  • I have absolutely no intrest for multiplayer so that part content update means nothing to me.
  • Paint color vs vinyl color fix was not really fixed, gloss and color difference is still ugly and visible.
  • over saturated car & other colors are still problem in many lighting conditions, mainly night/dark/evening etc, just looks ugly
  • Game still hangs at start of career event sometimes, even update 4 did not fix that

I get the impression that (like many companies) the studio shifted priorities long ago to managing the brand over the game/series itself.

Initially, grow by offering something good.
Later, capitalize on brand loyalty.
…Keep selling the sizzle (of the brand) after swapping out the good steak for cheap chewy gristle (lackluster games).

It also makes me wonder if they’ve moved the “engagement” goalposts outside the game:
the active in-game player population has been in steep decline,
but by pumping up the numbers of newsletter recipients, poll responders, blog hits, Twitter/X followers & retweets, Instagram followers & replies, Twitch subscribers & chat participants, YouTube subscribers & comments, Discord members & comments, forum posts, clicks, views, etc.,
they can feign quantifiable brand exposure (despite a shrinking player-base).

This might be the last hurrah.
After so many repeated let-downs, I don’t think they can ride the brand loyalty train any farther, no matter how much FOMO & grind they bake into the game to try to regularly spike “engagement” artificially.

It’s simple:

  1. FIX THE GAME

  2. SOLVE CarPG ridiculousness

  3. Keep added career events in game

  4. Make rewards be new-to-Forza cars

  5. As we all see that you are just recycling FM7 tracks at least add two of them, and listen to community, fix PIT exits…

All of this is wishful thinking, but developers should respond to this list, with concrete answers, not just “we are working”…

Game is out for 3.5 months, nothing crucial is fixed…

Why should I care about new content when I need to restart game after browsing Showroom because my game defaults to run at 15fps…

There is ONE thing that needs to be fixed in this game; the AI`s behaviour. The socalled drivatars is a disaster, who on earth came up with this idiocy?

Hockenheim is ok but would have been legendary if the old circuit was included.

About cars; I 99% ignore “supercars”, I accept but mostly ignore racecars but I love classics and upgrading, tuning & racing them. Like now with the Alfa GTA; eagered to win it, made up some good setups for it and even did a decent Jochen Rindt paintjob for it.
