I feel that the cash payouts for winning races and leveling up is a lot more generous in Horizon 2, Forza 6 and 5.
Despite being a VIP, I find it a constant grind just to make a few 100,000 credits to pick up my next car. And some cars are priced quite atrociously.
I’m not into any of the skills driving, stunts or sliding around and all that other debauchery just to level up and make money, so could you please consider increasing the rewards, especially for VIPs? All the VIP does is double the prize spin money, that’s it. Which I might add, is quite conservative to begin with.
Hopefully this thread gets locked. But before that, not gonna happen. The whole point of the spins are to gain things by luck. Sometimes you get 4Kcr(doubled for VIP) and sometimes you get 200kcr(again, doubled). Just because you don’t get a lot of high numbers doesn’t mean the spins aren’t rewarding. You’re still getting 4Kcr at the least. Also, keep on grinding. I just spent an hour doing a 10 lap Goliath so I could get the Centenario. Had 20 spins and got over a million cr from them. And yeah, VIP doubles the spins. That’s what it’s suppose to do. Do you have another thing in mind? Just give you 100Kcr every time you level up? Get real.
P.S. you can’t complain about not getting enough credits when you don’t do what’s necessary to level up. It seems like you’re asking them to just give you money.
Agreed, though usually level-ups aren’t rewarded with random payouts, mind. The system in Horizon 3 is kinda doing it’s own thing.
Regardless though, whilst the good payouts from wheelspins can be a nice boost they absolutely aren’t intended to be your main means of income. If you’re only living from one wheelspin to the next you’re probably not doing everything you can to earn money.
Ok spins good spins give money and cars mind you increasing the number of cars advail from spins would be good as I seem to have several of the same model car but thats the luck of the spin. But one question what is Goliath ???
There comes a point in the game when you don’t get much money by leveling up because it takes a long time to level up. The whole thing is biased towards the first 300 levels. When you’re there, you make enough money by spins and levelups. If you’re above that it gets progressively worse, to the point where farming Goliath is the only viable way to generate enough money to afford all the cars in the game. I did the math and posted it here once, it boils down to 100 hours of Goliath to buy every car.
Seems like you want more money to play the game less
Hmm why bother even playing the game and just rely on the weekly hub rewards
Oh wait can’t do that since they forgot to send them again
Sic
Yeah, the prices are fine. I’ve never felt like I have to squeeze out every Forza Rewards payout or sell all my HE cars or grind Goliath just to progress. The fact DLC cars are all free makes it even easier.
Comparing games means nothing. I did not find it hard to buy every car in the game. But that is the extreme goal. If all you want to do is save up for one expensive car its not hard.
While it is a lil harder to get credits compared to say forza 5 or 6 ( way too easy) it is still quite easy
I might have did goliath maybe 3 or 4 times ( only 1 lap too ) and i still have more credits to know what to do with
I don’t grind anything because that makes it boring
I think im only about level 500 as well and i rarely even use the auction house and only to buy
Relying on wheelspins and weekly rewards to get credits is boring too and just means you arent playing the game enough…
Beginning to think some people want to rewarded more for doing less …guess its the way of the current generation though
If you want to know what a grind is go back and play forza motorsport 2 …even try fm3 or fm4 and fh1
Just because its not as easy with credits falling from the sky like forza 5 or 6 and fh2 doesnt make it a grind
Means you actually need to play the game to EARN the cars you want instead of just being given them for little effort
I can’t speak for Dead Island, as I only vaguely recall it. But in Neverwinter at higher levels you get more valuable drops, which is fairly common. Something typically scales up to make gameplay more rewarding as you level up. If the grind keeps getting grindier and nothing scales up with it, the rewards are actually decreasing - and that’s bad game design. It’s taking the carrot-on-a-stick approach but replacing the carrot with excrement.
