Quick and dirty fix for Bone Shaker: change it’s standard tire compound to Race Tires
No, that it’s not a fix, you can fit bone shaker at a-class even with race tires.

Edit: HW Bone Shaker starts at A Class (PI:795). Adding Race Tires changes the HWBS to S1 class (PI:809). There are no amount of parts you can add to this car to drop it’s PI by 9 points, hence the simple fix.
100% sure. And that wouldnt remove that fact that bone shaker is insane in asphalt even with rally tires. Easiest fix IMO would be just ban bone shaker for online adventures.
Edit: Tricks to get bone shaker staying in a-class with race tires, awd swap, widest rear tires, rear aero and bigger rear rim size.

Already said that a month ago. Mandatory race tires, PG can fix the dominance of this car in A class but they dont want to

How does the Plymouth Atomic Punk compare to the Boneshaker. I saw heaps of AI’s using it against my A800 Boneshaker the other day.
If built correctly (AWD, V8 swap, centrifugal supercharger) it can match the Bone Shaker on a lot of tracks. But it is much harder to drive and once you have to manage wet roads it can’t hold up.
The Bone Shaker’s grip level is just miles ahead.

When I was playing ranked adventure today I lost to a team of 5 people (with 1 stranger with them) who had 3 bone shakers, they completely annihilated my team.
I remember back in FH3 when there used to be a drivatar who came last in every campaign race I do, usually driving a Bone Shaker or the Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock that was nowhere near as upgraded as the rest of the pack.
I don’t know if the Bone Shaker is OP. But I used it for the ‘Bad to the Bone’ championship this week (the title seems to imply that’s what they want us to do) using Don Joewon Song’s tune, and I’ve never seen the AI so far behind on Expert before. I even got the popup saying that I’m winning too easily, and asking if I wanted to increase to Pro.
Me! The game wants me to increase to Pro! I’m barely holding it together at Expert.
I’m not complaining. It’s single player, so it doesn’t matter competitively, and I’ll take any edge I can get. But still…

Something is wrong with the AI in that event, I beat multiple A class Bone Wankers in my B class Hula Girl.
Atomic Punk can beat the Boneshaker on dry medium-high speed tracks. The Hula Girl is also a contender but it’s not as strong overall imo.
Boneshaker is still the best overall A class car with the right tunes. Add rain or snow and it’s no contest. PG don’t take this line however so I don’t think they will ever fix the car despite being repeatedly shown factual data showing the Boneshaker being ahead overall.
IMO the game could do with some tweaks to the PI system and specific nerfs to a few cars but I think PG don’t have the technical capacity to do any car balancing and they are probably putting their resources elsewhere.

Just make the Boneshaker available in the Autoshow, or often in the Forzathon store, then anyone can use it.
I just don’t understand why AWD swap, rally tires and rear wing can still keep the car in A class. It starts at 795 and those upgrades bring down the PI, Just WTH.

It’s because the PI system doesn’t value acceleration much and thinks that the slightest bit of understeer is the end of the world.

There’s no point in using any other car in a class or s1. Whether it’s on or off road, the bone shaker always wins.
I’ve seen other very strong cars in S1 tho, not sure if BS will do so good in S1…the Alfa 33 is a rocket with the V8 still in.
Just a reminder that in a couple of days everyone will be able to get this “car” again and the devs didn’t do anything to nerf that thing.

You have been lucky, i just moments ago race custom adventure lobby where was 3 bone shaker, but it was winter adventure and i think everybody knows how OP bone shaker is in winter. But overall in custom adventures peoples dont seems to use bone shaker that mutch and i think people who now get first bone shaker are peoples who cant take full advantage of that car.
I hate it so much. I tried my best in my Subaru and still got a 6 seconds gap.
