I will most likely play this on my PC so I would like to know if it will support direct drive wheels and separate USB connected pedals .I do like what I see so far.
The series is notorious for having bad wheel support, but a new game, a new hope.
This was something that Dan Greenawalt specifically addressed in his IGN interview last night. He said that because FM7 is the first full-fledged Forza game to be designed from the ground up for PC … there will be much more support for PC peripherals like wheels, pedals, shifters, etc. He said that was a point that they focused on specifically.
“We’ve got crazy love for PC in #ForzaMotorsport7, including every fan requested wheel on the market.”

This is exciting news for wheel users
Thank god for that TH8A gathering dust atm…
Hi all, now that Forza has come to the PC platform, and is making huge strides to how deep the game is for casual/sim racing, I have not been able to find details on having data sent to a sim commander so we can have motion platform available with track telemetry. This is obviously necessary in order to move a seat around for the g-force effect and some stage 4-5 sim rigs actually slide like the rear wheels in a car do as well… (Ultra realism, and control!) Also, the telemetry data is necessary for full fidelity with regard to tactile feedback devices such as the buttkicker gamer 2 (which translates the data of low freq sound or data into seat rumble/engine/exhaust/gear changing, tire rumble etc etc) it is best without the use of a “low freq” bass sound instead. So are there any details regarding this cutting/bleeding edge in actual simulation racing/training? Pcars, Assetto Corsa, Iracing, Dirt Rally, etc etc all have this feature, and Forza has not.
Understandably, the Forza series is somewhat new still in regards to PC play, but with what the huge catalog of tracks and cars being offered with the series, and now PC play here to stay, how much support are we (the pc “gamer”) going to have? We are the most serious of racers as we are the people who use sim equipment to practice for the real thing, and some of us are actual real race car drivers and would love to see our gear supported on the PC platform which sim truly exists. Having played Forza Horizon 3 on the PC and having the large catalog of cars/trucks etc and the sense of realism just with my wheel/pedals and buttkicker have been technically “very close” to realistic driving, my one caveat is the lack of support to PCs with regards to telemetry data. Can anyone here give me any insight into my inquisition with regards to having this feed of data for Forza 7, FH3? Thanks for your time.
Hi,
Will this game support mouse steering? I would love to play this but unfortunately i can not play on keyboard or controler.

Can someone give me a concrete answer to this question . Will Forza 7 on PC support Direct Drive wheels.
BOOM. there it is.
Can I use the Farming Simulator wheel??
will forza motorsport 7 support h-patter shifters such as thrustmaster th8rs/th8a on PC?
neither do FM6 apex or FH3 do on PC while both do support on xbox btw!
It’s mentioned further up the thread, as for Apex and FH3 FirstPlatoLV has created a S/ware package to allow the use of older wheels (those unsupported in FH3), along with multiple input devices including the TH8A shifter. He’s also able to add devices upon request…
Why T10 PGG and MS couldn’t sort this out is beyond me but Kudos to FirtPlatoLV for getting it done when all we’ve been told was “It can’t be done…”
Thankfully this won’t be the case with FM7, check this article out as there’s a picture of several wheels tested from Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec including DFGT, Driving Force, G25, G27, T100, TH8A, Clubsport plus others I can’t ID off the top of my head…
i have just bought an Rseat Rs1, Accuforce pro wheel and fanatec pedals, i really hope they have better support for peripherals this time or im off to project cars 2.
Same here- RSeat1, AF, Fanatec v3 pedals, SQ shifter and HB, would be great if its supported
I have shifter and handbrake and with FH3 nor Forza 6, shifter + handbrake don’t work…
So if no multi USB input,no buy…
how can you explain all other games, for example dirt 4 or dirt rally have multi usb input ???
Why can’t you do the same ?
[Mod Edit - thread merged - MM]
Ryan Cooper stated at E3 that multi-USB is supported.
i just wait for others buy and tell me if we have multi-usb…
This is what I do for anything else gaming related that I’m not sure about. The early adopters are always the ones rolling the dice.
