So, Phil Spencer repeated something last night that he’s been saying for a while now, that ALL xbox one accessories will work on xbox one X.
Yet, when i queried with xbox support on Twitter as to whether my thrustmaster TX would work with the X i was told ‘we cant speculate on that now’
Surely this should work on the X, technically it’s an official accsessory… i wont be upgrading if i have to spend all that cash again as i have the t3pa pro, the th8a and the evo599xx rim. No chance! Lol
It’s way too early for support to know about this, they will be informed weeks before the release. Every Xbox One accessory works with One X. It’s the same OS, it uses the same I/O.

So that means no usb handbrake support. [/quote]
I wouldnt say that. Now USB Webcams are working on xone. Could work for other usb peripheral, like Headsets, mouse/keyboard (works already in minecraft) and… Handbreaks. Would appreciate that.
Will my 360 wireless steering wheel work in F7? Sorry if its been asked already.I let my nephew borrow it.But im thinking i might need it back come Nov 7 when i open the xbox one x.Getting excited for F7!I know there are better wheels for forza, but my budget allowed me to go with this one. Thanks
Actually the answer is yes it will work… If you will be running FM7 on PC. When I stream console to laptop or any other PC in this case, the 360 controllers and wheel all work for me. FM7 will also give you the option of running straight off the PC if you have play anywhere from a digital copy.
He was wanting it to work with an xbone X though which it wont
It’s also a 360 wireless wheel which wont work without a wireless adapter
But of course most wheels will work with PC
And even if they dont there’s ways of getting them to work
The 360 wheel with wireless adapter for PC will work for other games but not Forza. It works fine with Dirt 3 PC version but it is somehow intentionally blocked from working with Forza. Not sure if there is a way around this. I don’t think so. They can make it work with a driver for Forza but I highly doubt that would happen since they didn’t do this with Apex or H3 and it was mentioned as a maybe when Apex came out but they never spoke of it again after that. I wish they would allow it to work since my 360 wheel just collects dust.
Plugging it straight in will not work but he can stream it to a PC and use the wheel plugged into PC. I’m thinking about investing in something better that will plug straight into Xbox One without the streaming deal, but that’s a question for the coming spring.
