Performance RT cockpit reflections post update

What is going on with the reflections around the main dash lights and cockpit dials following the latest update ?

Let me give you an example: when you see the rev needle and speedo rising, there’s strange blurry reflections around the round dials or surrounding dash structure.

So, whenever you drive a car which has any reflective parts on the main dash or surrounding body structure such as the inside of window railings or borders, you see these blurry pixelated reflections. Only in performance RT, Xbox Series X.

Why is this happening? Only noticed it post update. Cockpits look really low res as a result and the reflections look like they are 480p or something.

Is this a known issue? Has anybody created a thread for it under Car Issues?

I think lower the 480p I think :thinking:.

Yeah, they don’t even look like reflections. Just ultra low resolution dots and pixels. What is this team up to?

Been doing this since launch. I can’t have RT on because of this. Found resetting the Xbox sometimes fixes it but only temporarily.

It’s a game engine issue, really, and not much a hard reset or game/console restart can fix. I really don’t like how RT is implemented in this game. Seems broken or some kind of pseudo ray tracing.

Been thinking myself to just go back to the “recommend” setting which is Performance 4k but then the reflections don’t look as good.

I’ve actually posted multiple videos on there to help the devs investigate it further.
