Overcoming the current game state

@AdmPatate Impressive spreadsheet, wish I could come up with a conversion calculator for PI on FH5 to FM Also seems like I need to do it for FM7 to FM since the PI of cars has changed a lot!

@AtomiqueMclaren You should see what I did to keep track of my cars.

I did a bit of C#, I already had code for a UDP receiver, works like a charm. I’m just using it to collect lap times. It’s wildly unnecessary, but I wasn’t too hard. I could show my work if that’s of interest.

Best solution… sell the Xbox and get a PS5 for Gran Turismo 7. Still no option to select what class you want to race online, it’s just whatever the developers decide to put up for rotation that week. This release has got to be one of ugliest of the year.

The first step to overcoming the current game state is removing car leveling.

Well, I found out what those number means while setting times in C-class on all the tracks and leveling a few cars.

Thanks dude. I’m writing a very sophisticated application to help with driving in game on PC, improving lap times and tuning! I’ll share when ready!

The funny thing is that adding all class hoppers to multiplayer would instantly give Forza a one up on GT7. Do the devs think about this? Evidently not.

GT7 currently has 5 official online hoppers in Sport mode that probably utilizes maybe 50 total cars in the game. These races are usually full or at least close to it.

-To make up for this there are public custom hoppers that are usually about half empty or more since there are so many to join, however these hoppers also don’t utilize every car in the game unless you make them yourself.

If Forza went ahead and added all open hoppers in multiplayer then they’d be utilizing all the 500+ cars in the game instantly for those who want to drive any car on an official hopper. They at least need to do a 3-4 hopper rotation because 1 by itself isn’t working.

Nope. No exploit. Just using AI with UDP telemetry that is readily available
