On going issue with missing textures over time

I see that the only mention under known issues about missing textures says to lower the in game graphics settings but unfortunately this does not seem to help at all with the issue.

I have posted before detailed info about the scenario that occurs and it occurs on different pcs and gpus.

The problem driving on Daytona Oval [I use hood view most of the time] after tarting the game, pick a fast car go to daytona oval and run more than 50 laps no matter if it is multiple 10s 20s or timed to 45 minutes or more. by lap 50 the problem starts to present with the flicker of a fence panel in turn 1 after that the more laps you drive the worse it gets until around 90 laps or so there are lots of missing textures and the track starts to pop in and out up ahead near turn 1.

I have tried lowering the video setting in game, no effect, lower them more, no effect, lowered them even more, no effect.
I have disabled game mode, no effect, installed newest drivers both of the recent game ready FM7 releases, no effect
I have disable game bar and game dvr, no effect

My system is a AMD Ryzen 5 1600, running 16gb ddr4 ram and using a 1050TI gpu with 4gb vRam

Nothing is getting hot, plenty of drive space, page file is on a super fast M2 ultra drive

I’m willing to try whatever may help, I can send logs, specs whatever is needed if it will help resolve this problem but this needs to be addressed
At the very least it should be listed under known issues as I have saw numerous post related to this problem both here and on other forums and as of yet I have saw no solution other than to shut the game down and start it again.

Once the game has been restarted you can get another 50 laps there before the problem shows itself again. I have managed to repeat this now more times than I care to remember while testing various settings looking for a solution.

Is this at least something you guys are looking into?

I have also been seeing the game crashing more often since the last patch. This morning I had it crash twice when trying to select a car from my garage. The first time it happen under the my garage section the second time it happens while trying to change car in freeplay. Had not had this issue before today.

btw I am still running lower video setting in game and as of last night have the game dvr and game bar disabled. Game mode has been disabled for a while now. I am also running in windowed mode since the last patch as it seemed the stuttering wasn’t as bad in windowed mode as in full screen mode. Though I am not sure that really is the case at this point.

Try to use MemReduct utility, i had missing textures a few times but somehow it recovered itself again from it.

I suggest in the program itself to go at “File - Settings” and then “Memory Cleaning - Memory Regions to be Cleaned” , select them all (5 checkboxes).
Now drive 25 or 50 laps, and click “clean memory” or you can use CTRL+F1 shortcut key while racing, you will notice a bit of stutter in FM7 during the cleaning process.

See how this goes. Let me know.

I guess it shouldn’t hurt to try though It does not seem to be a memory issue, both ram and vram seem to be in the same range when the problem occurs and when it does not.

Now the wheel selection part I have definitely saw that eat up a lot of ram that does not get released but have not noticed it from racing. At one point I thought I did but when I restarted the game it did not appear that was the case as more vram was used after the restart than was used when the problem had occurred.

Last time i had it was yesterday, i got like a big stutter, the ram-usage went down (by the game itself, not because of cleaner), and road texture dissapeared.
Maybe because of the memory leak, the programming in when to “release memory” is faulty too? who knows.

In the case I have been seeing the missing textures are gradual and over time get a little worse and keep doing so until if you let it go long enough it will crash Memory usage is usually ~5gb and vRam usually ~3.5gb If I’ve been browsing wheels or other problem area then that ram usage is a bit higher.

I will try the memory program next time it happens and see if there is any change though
