Yikes. Anyone getting this mid race? The track and all fencing etc dissapearing. The braking line and car was the only thing guiding me.
Not mid-race, it happens for me with alot of “rewinds” during a race and view “replay”
can confirm this, yesterday at the oval race i did, at around lap nr. 30 it started where the walls vanish in the turns
I get a gradual degradation in performance. After an hour or two of play I start getting stutters and frame drops, an hour or two after that I start getting textures disappearing - track, barriers, stands. If I quit game and then start it again, it’s fine and the process starts again. I’m on PC… Vram memory leak? I don’t know.
I have rewind off, so it’s not that for me.
Same here, happens in every long race I do (PC).
I’ve played around 8 or 9 hours of this game so far on PC since it downloaded at 9pm on Saturday plus another 2 or 3 hours on my Xbox One (while it was downloading on PC!).
I hadn’t noticed many graphical glitches except for some disappointing LOD issues on cars during a race where I had to overtake 38 or more VWs. However, last night I was doing a 5 lap race at Silverstone and the track and scenery started glitching out on the third lap, starting with the spectator stands which disappeared to the right as I crossed into the 4th lap. Then during the 4th lap more and more scenery and track started disappearing making it impossible to see the road itself if it wasn’t for the racing line. Rather than exit a race I was leading I decided to try and complete it but by the end of the race almost all of the graphics had disappeared. They still remained that way when I viewed the replay and I ended up having to exit the game and reload it.
I suspect the game has some kind of memory leak personally as I’ve experienced two crashes and instances of the post-race menus, the one where you are shown your XP and Credits, slowing down to a crawl, even freezing mid way through displaying some text for 10-15 seconds before the game resumed. Generally, the game has been very stable as I’ve played it for hours at a time but it does feel like the longer I play it the more likely it is for the game to crash (the two crashes occurred after prolonged play for example as did the track disappearing glitch).
I’m playing the game at 2560x1440 with maxed out Ultra settings, 8xMSAA and 150% Resolution scaling by the way (for 4K rendering). My PC is an i7-4770K, 16 GB, GTX 1080 Ti, Windows 10 Pro using the v387.78 drivers. Framerates are in the 65-120 fps region.
I have had the same exact issue only on the homestead track, it seems that the longer the race the more the chance of having this issue.
I haven’t had that happen in any other instance in the game and I’ve played quite a lot of the single player campaign, Game is running at my native resolution (4096x2160) on ultra settings with an i7- 6700k, 32GB, GTX 1080 Ti Strix OC.

3840x2160 resolution, 100% resolution scale, maxed ultra settings except only 8x Anisotrophic Aliasing and 4x MSAA

Yeah, happened to me just now.
Was doing a 10 lap Yas Marina reverse, and then suddently at 8/10, **** happens
I managed to finish it anyway lol. This was incredibly hard, i couldn’t see anything so i just tried to follow the map and prayed i wouldn’t crash too much.
However, game crashed just after the race.
Yes i get this too both on 1080ti and 980. It is uninfluenced by graphic settings or whatever. It is here since demo, hope this gets fixed as this is the most annyoing bug, maybe we get lucky tomorrow.
