Will there be robust support for custom races, including upgraded ai cars and specific homologation settings (power limits, weight limits, displacement, engine type, etc)?
Sub question: how will it perform if split screen is added? How much resolution and frame rate?
Edit: how much resolution and frame rate for series s and x
Sub question: will there be a quality mode for both s/x? Like 1440/30 for series s and 4K/30 for series x?
Sub question: if so, will it support horizon 5 and 4? Or just 5?
Has wheel support improved over FM7.
A: Forza Motorsport features improved force-feedback for wheel users and takes advantage of advanced wheel features to display RPM, shift lights and race data on custom screens. See our discussion topic.
Can we have qualifying and full Race Regulations in single player?
Hey there! Has there been a big focus on supporting sim racing wheels or is the intention for this game to focus on controller usage?
A: Forza Motorsport on PC natively supports popular racing wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec. We also support the DirectInput API, enabling players to plug-in and play with a much wider range of hardware than before, including wheels and devices that arenât listed below. This level of device extensibility means Forza Motorsport is accessible to more players who use custom hardware setups than ever before.
Great job on the questions so far - keep them coming! Clicking the heart/Like button for questions that interest you is helpful for the team.
Iâve updated post #2 with a summary of the questions and subjects. Iâve also posted the FAQ with answers from Forza Support. And be sure to watch our Forza Monthly livestream on Tuesday which may answer other questions.
With the promise of more content to come after the conclusion of the Car Pass, it must be asked - will that content be distributed to players the same way Motorsport 7âs content (eventually) was, in that it is immediately released to players and available free of timegates or objective gates? Or will Motorsport 2023 implement the same model Playground Games has for Horizon 4 and 5, and use FOMO mechanics to gate content behind limited-time objective chorelists, with that content promptly becoming unavailable to players after the designated period expires and until Turn 10 deems it suitable to release said content again? The choice of distribution model that Motorsport 2023 chooses to use is going to play a big role in many potential playersâ decision to purchase or even consider this game, myself included.
The cover of the game says that internet is required
IT means it is always online or it is for patches and all stuffs?
Looking at the title being âForza Motorsportâ and not âForza Motorsport 8â, does Turn 10 plan to support this new title with fresh content for longer than all previous titles, or are we, just, restarting the title count back to 1?
Will there be autocross or rallycross events?
EDIT: June 13 livestream mentioned time attack being included
Will we have the choice to make our career races longer or shorter?
EDIT: June 13th livestream showed that career race lengths are not adjustable.
Horizon series included a drift camera that, automatically, redirected your camera in the direction the car was traveling. Will a similar feature be included in Motorsport?
FM7 included indicators with the Nascar update to notify you of cars in your blindspots. Will this feature be returning?
For vehicles that rely on boost to take off from a stop at the start of the race, will there be the ability to build boost during the countdown so the car doesnât die?
EDIT: June 13 livestream showed the player revving the car during the countdown, but not confirmed if âboost launchesâ will be available.
If drag racing returns, will there be a separate PI system that is drag racing specific (taking handling and braking out of the equation)?
Will there be recognition for drivers who place high up in the leaderboards?
Will there be brake rotor reduction upgrades to allow for smaller wheels and larger sidewall tires for drag racing?
Can we mix tire compounds (soft in the front and hard in the rear)?
