Moving save to a new console

Hi I’m about to send my faulty xbox one away to be replaced.

I realise my save games for Horizon 2 and Forza 5/6 will be on the cloud and accessible when I log onto my new console.

My question is will all the DLC cars and free cars I have be there when I log onto my new console.

I had to do exactly the same thing last month. Everything should be restored including DLC, tunes, paint jobs, credits.

Just reinstall the game, let it install completely before playing and let it sync the data without interruption when you first start the game.

I was panicking about it thinking I might have lost all my progress but had no problems.

Again, for OP: Don’t interrupt! I did it in Forza 5 because I thought I got stuck after a few hours.
I lost all my cars and credits. All I had left was half of the setups and designs.

The sync could take a few hours too
But you need to let it complete fully before playing

And the DLC, your gamertag owns those, no matter what console you’re on. You “may” need to re-download them, but they belong to you.

As others have said, FULLY install the game, then relax (probably a couple hours) for the update process and DO NOT attempt to play until the downloads are 100% completed and disappear from the download queue.
