Forza 5 Cloud saves, What is saved?

Hi all,

I am getting my Xbone replaced to the drive error. (When a new disc was put in it sometimes made a really loud grinding noise. and said disc unreadable…
This seemed to happen a lot more with the Forza disc at lot more than others…)

I am assuming that my Forza 5 progress is saved in the cloud, so nothing will be lost.

But does this include all bought cars, tuning setups and paint jobs?

Cheers

Yup! I Had mine replaced as well & i lost nothing. but it does take the Sync awhile. just let it sit & Sync Cause i’m imagining the Save file could be in the 100’s of MB’s. & Dead Rising 3 Loaded In Second’s, But Forza 5 Took Almost 5 Minute’s to finally load. but as far as loosing anything, you won’t loose anything that i’m aware of, i still have all my car’s, tune’s, & the 2 paint job’s & all the paint job’s i downloaded to other car’s were all still there. VIP Gift car’s are still all there.

I Really hope the new update includes a USB Save Feature for saved game’s. & A Way to Save Game Update’s To A USB Stick to save time from downloading the game. Sense i own the LCE Disk, Every time i have to install & uninstall i have to download that large update. :frowning:

Awesome, Good to know Thanks.

Its not like my designs are anything special, but I have spent a bit of time on them. haha

I just got mine replaced under warranty as well. All of my cars, tunes and vinyl logos that I made were still there. I had to re-download the car packs, but the game recognized that I purchased them. The most important thing to do when you get your replacement is to go under setting on the dashboard and set “My Home XBOX”; this will transfer all your licenses for you games. If your replacement is coming from Microsoft the replacement will be registered, if not work with your retailer to transfer the registration.

Just to finish the post off.

The New Xbox arrived less than 24 hours after the call.
The new box seems to be a massive improvement over my original one! (It was a Day one edition, it had the intermitant drive issue and the TV app would not work if the box had not had a hard restart.)

The new one does everything it is sposed to without any issues now.

All content is saved to the cloud, including xbox record that videos… (Even the ones I have not marked as keepers)

So besides having to install the games, and download DLC again there has been no troubles.

I am more than happy with the response from MS and I understand that producing 3 million (Of anything will result in a few dodgy issues!)

Thanks for the replies all.

Paddy.
